@karmadrama did you decide whether to attend any of the hearings at all?
I'm confused as well, apparently he is asleep but his lips are also blue? Is he unconscious?Where are people reading the trial? I have been using MEN but there isn’t as much detail as I’m seeing posted here.
Also - I am really confused by the description of Preston slumped over the cot. I’m imagining him standing and leaning over but it sounds like he’s not breathing (lips blue etc) - how is he in this position? Wouldn’t he move away if they’re not holding him? Or has he been forced into that position for so long he now can’t?
I just can’t picture what is actually happening to him. Altho I also feel like I don’t want to!
I believe he was possibly unconscious after being deprived of oxygen.I'm confused as well, apparently he is asleep but his lips are also blue? Is he unconscious?
I can only imagine they mean when you can lower the side of the cot, that he was slumped over like that, propped up on his knees 🥲Also - I am really confused by the description of Preston slumped over the cot. I’m just glad the pathologist was so emphatic in her statement about the bruising to his throat not being possible during the life saving efforts as he had no pulse to cause a bruise. They can try and argue with facts (and blame the decent people who were trying to save this innocent baby) but science is not on their side- I’m hopeful that there’s no way they can wriggle out of anything now. Absolute creatures.I just want to swear a lot right now. This afternoons evidence has been heartbreaking. Thankfully I think its enough to seal the deal, without any room for doubt!
I did think that would be the case, it was significant that they highlighted the fact of a brief period of regaining a pulse was not enough of a return of circulation to enable a bruise to develop. Poor baby was already dead when he arrived at the hospitalI’m just glad the pathologist was so emphatic in her statement about the bruising to his throat not being possible during the life saving efforts as he had no pulse to cause a bruise. That was the conclusion I drew.I believe he was possibly unconscious after being deprived of oxygen.
Okay but you can be a head of year without being a QT can't you? In academy's and such. I was just explaining why JV seemed to fly through the ranks. To teach children you need Qualified Teacher Status QTS without this your role is support. SENCOs always have QTS because of the nature of their role which is far more than pastoral. I know this because I have been in the profession since Noah counted the animals on to the arc. Then tried to count children getting on a bus for a field trip. The arc was a successful count, the bus not so good.
This is such a heartbreaking thoughtHe must have been so desperate for protection and affection. - and he had no reason to fear women. He was probably instinctively hoping to charm her, so she would take him home and keep him safe.
I really, really just cannot bear this. Preston's suffering has broken my heart.
No, I haven’t been able to get any time off work yet unfortunately.@karmadrama did you decide whether to attend any of the hearings at all?
This is how I envisaged it too. Some cots can be set up so the mattress sits higher - see random google image.I can only imagine they mean when you can lower the side of the cot, that he was slumped over like that, propped up on his knees 🥲
