"Stupid"?
Those videos weren't "stupid". They were callous and brutal and beyond cruel. There was nothing as innocent as "stupid" about them.
I don't care if they had no idea how to care for a baby (and I don't believe that - JV had nieces and nephews - I'll bet he hadn't shouted at them and played loud music to keep them awake or span them for excessive times and at excessive speeds on a roundabout, or left them in a cold bath for an hour, in water too deep for them). They could see he was upset, he cried almost constantly because he was in pain. They treated him like a piece of dishrag and anyone could see that the was suffering

Maybe he thought he was stupid for keeping them when he knew if the police got hold of them then we’d be exactly where we are right now in court
If we imagine they are both guilty, JMF was better at keeping his devices free from evidence and JV is “stupid” because he didn’t.

Facebook is a hotbed of misinformation unfortunately. I wouldn’t believe anything posted that wasn’t from official channels. You have to ask who would risk their career, a mistrial and potential prosecution to post something from an active trial.
I just can’t help but think if the doctor did their job properly when they first broke his arm and declared it a non accidental injury he would have been removed and had a good chance at life. I hope they are feeling guilty as hell
