I have no suggestions because I've never found a way to helpMorning everyone! I’ve been lurking this thread since I first saw it!
currently 36 weeks... I am so uncomfortable at night constantly up and down peeing and changing sides... my hips and lower back are so uncomfortable especially. I have a gigantic support pillow That isn’t cutting it anymore..
Any tips or is it just because baby is that size now?! First one so I am clueless![]()
It's not much different to your midwife appointments really.Hi guys, just after some advice I'm 11+2 days pregnant (2nd baby) and I've been referred by the midwife at my booking appointment to be under consultant care as I'm now classed as high risk due to previous losses, and other problems in my last pregnancy I have my consultant appt tomorrow, what actually happens at these? Anyone had any experience with being consultant led? Thank you ladiesxx
I remember sending a male friend my scan photo at 12 weeks and his response was "Wow. That's a baby?"Two more days until my 12 week scan and now the nerves are starting to kick in.
I will be 13 weeks tomorrow and had a private scan after Christmas at 11w5, everything was fine but obviously you never know how everything is going between scans at this stage when you can't feel movement etc.
Size of a lemon tomorrow, when I found out it was a poppy seed so this feels bloody massive
This was 11w5, crazy to think how much it looks like a baby so early!

ME! Luckily I'm not dye until July but we had planned to have a day starting to browse baby bits after our scan to get a feel for the big stuff, prams, how much they cost, what sort of sleeping arrangement works best in our little flat etc. Now with tier 4 everything is shut and although I don't need to buy anything now I wanted to start learning what I need and figuring out what it is going to cost. As a FTM and no family local I know nothing! Is anyone else getting worried about not being able to buy bits for the baby due to covid restrictions/lockdown until March? I’m T4 in Essex atm. I’m due in May and will buy most things online but I’m clueless about prams and had planned to start looking this month so I could have a look/try out a few. I also need to upgrade my car as it’s tiny, panicking now that I won’t have a chance to get either before baby arrives!
Its tricky. We managed to get our pram and car seat sorted the week after the November lockdown lifted. Is anyone else getting worried about not being able to buy bits for the baby due to covid restrictions/lockdown until March? Would not recommend a silver cross pram - It’s awful to work withI think with Prams it'll have to be down to reviews.
I'm looking for a new one and due end of March but have no idea what they feel or look like in person.
Every time I've seen someone pushing one I've had a good lookwithout seeming too creepy and staring haha!
Try not to worry too much. In an ideal world everything is sorted before baby comes, but really if you have to do a few bits afterwards it won’t be the end of the world. If you can narrow down things you want (eg car, pram) then when places do open up a bit you can get out and make decisions quickly. Is anyone else getting worried about not being able to buy bits for the baby due to covid restrictions/lockdown until March? Not all that much different, as other posters have said! It’s only because you are ‘higher risk’, more to keep an eye on you and baby.Hi guys, just after some advice I'm 11+2 days pregnant (2nd baby) and I've been referred by the midwife at my booking appointment to be under consultant care as I'm now classed as high risk due to previous losses, and other problems in my last pregnancy I have my consultant appt tomorrow, what actually happens at these? Me! I'm not due till July so I'm thinking surely there'll be a time when shops open before then although the news lately is not the most reassuring! Pram and car seat are the biggest things I'm worried about especially pram. I really need to try them out in person as I'm the type of person who struggles to open and close ironing boards so I need a pram that doesn't stress me out opening and closing it!Is anyone else getting worried about not being able to buy bits for the baby due to covid restrictions/lockdown until March?
