I found I got a lot more discharge in second trimester onwards. Just clear-whitish but I’ve now taken to wearing panty liners every day just to keep myself feeling dry as it was getting very unpleasant!
I’ve read that hormonal changes in pregnancy can make you more sweaty too! Lovely! 😂
Maybe it’s the hormonal changes. Plus the fact I have put on weight. I don’t remember it happening until much later in previous pregnancies, but I am heavier this time. It’s definitely not discharge, I’m just a sweaty mess 🤣

Me! I'm so conscious and use the little liners in my knickers. Even after a bath or shower I feel the same. It's horrible 😬
I’m so glad it’s not just me! It is horrible, and I know what you mean even after a shower I don’t feel totally clean at all 😫

I really hope other people experience this or I may die of embarrassment sharing it...

Does anyone else get a really sweaty crotch/groin during pregnancy? I find it just so unpleasant 🤢 I feel like I’m always sticky and sweaty ‘down there’, and my underwear is always damp too. And I definitely haven’t peed myself 🤣 this is in every pregnancy, and it’s one of the things that annoys me most. But I’ve never heard anyone else mention it!
Erm yes 🙈 I thought I’d peed myself when I woke up this morning, it was just sweat 🤢

Sometimes I do have to double check with myself “did you pee maybe a tiny bit?” But nope. Just a sweaty Betty!

It’s always so good to know you’re not alone, thanks ladies! 🙌🏻

Has anyone had a home birth? Or planning on one? I'm not sure if everywhere is doing them anymore. My first labour was pretty textbook so I would love a home birth this time but husband is against it incase the worst is to happen which I obviously understand.

I love the idea of a home birth for a second or subsequent birth but my husband would never go for it and I’d need him on my side. We are both doctors, I’ve done enough hypnobirthing stuff now to not see birth as intrinsically dangerous but I’m not sure he will ever see it that way. Plus a friend had a family member who had a neonatal death after a home birth went awry and I would always be thinking of that.

I really wanted one with my second but partner wasn’t keen. Almost ended up with an unplanned one as my labour progressed that quick 🙈

But in the end I’m glad we didn’t as baby was on the small side (was never picked up) and was quite blue when he came out, and it seemed like he took forever to cry.

This is my worry. It's the IF something went wrong.
I considered it for my first and very glad I didn't as I hemorrhaged and had a 3rd degree tear!
I know lots of people who have had lovely home births though!

Pregnancy can be so glamorous 😅 I’ve noticed in the last few weeks my armpits seem to sweat more too.

Whilst pregnant did anyone consume A LOT of pickled onions? I’ve been eating jars and jars of them and can’t stop but worried that it’s not good for me/the baby? I hope I’m not the only one 🤣

I can’t get enough of them! I get so tempted to drink the liquid that’s left in the jar as well but I stop myself 🤢 I mean it’s pretty late for me to be asking if it’s good or not considering I’ve cleared Asda of their entire stock of them 🤣

Husband went shopping today and came back with a small jar. I was fuming inside 🤣 I haven't had the urge to drink the liquid though 🤣 do you know the gender of bump?

My partner also went for them and came back with a big jar but it was really small pickled onions, still good though 😂 I’m having a girl, due 3 weeks tomorrow!

Are cramps normal at any stage of pregnancy? I'm 13 weeks tomorrow and have been getting a few crampy sensations tonight at regular intervals. It's not painful enough to make me go 'oof' but it's uncomfortable and not sure if this is something to worry about?

It has been hard to not find out! I'm 23 weeks on Tues! Baby has been getting hiccups this week 😍

I had cramps with my first but early on. It was trapped wind in the end which made me sick sometimes with the pain. I wouldn't know if cramps were 'normal' but maybe phone your midwife tomorrow if still having them. Try not to worry. Hope you're ok?

It's normal throughout the whole thing unfortunately!
