First trimester is kicking my arse, it was bad enough with my last baby, but this time I have a 12 month old who doesn’t sleep 🫠 I’d love to lock myself in a room and sleep for 12 hours straight

4 times in the last week I’ve woken up at around 3 or 4am with period cramps, back pain and extreme hunger (lol) which then goes away after I’ve eaten something and gone back to sleep. Lost my mucus plug about 6 times now.

If baby girl can just stay in until I turn 37 weeks Friday, I’ve got a new fridge coming tomorrow and our car needs an MOT Thursday 😂

Plonking myself here as I took a test on Saturday & I'm 2-3 weeks preggo! this will be my second and I know I'll be eating my words when it really hits me, but I'm SO excited, I have a 2 1/2 year old girl currently and I feel like she was just MEANT to be a big sister if that makes any sense :ROFLMAO:
Self referred to the GP and got an early scan booked already LOL

38 weeks today and the “are you in labour yet” messages have begun 😬 did anyone else find their mum a bit insufferable or am I just a miserable cow?

My mum uses the baby’s name SO much in conversation that I think I now hate it and he’s not even born. I miss one video call because i’m walking the dog and I get a frantic voice note of “if you’re in labour you HAVE to tell me”. I’m scared of how overbearing she’s going to be, and it sounds awful because I know she’s excited, but it’s taking away from my excitement to have someone so in your face about it all the time.

I finally have my 12 week scan in the morning! I'm so so nervous though. Had a scan at 6 and 8 weeks and all looked good and was discharged from the recurrent miscarriage clinic.
I'm just so so scared... I hope my baby is ok and growing in there x

I’m due next month and the reality of giving birth again is slowly creeping in and I’m shitting myself 😂 I suffer with anxiety anyway, also health anxiety quite bad which doesn’t help and I always thought oh second baby I’ll feel better about it. No, no I do not, I know too much now and that somehow feels worse?! Sounds stupid I know but the unknown was almost better 🤣

I’m a million days pregnant, heavy af, sweating out of every orifice and I think my OH is being insufferably annoying on purpose and now he’s butthurt because I called him out for being annoying

Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow! I’m still only at 30 weeks and absolutely itching to be ready now 😂
Thank you! I absolutely thought I’d be ready because I am a small whale and my blood pressure keeps going through the roof and everything hurts and I have to literally roll off the sofa (our sofas are really low, I’m not exaggerating 😅), but I have cried about three thousand times today because I am so anxious 😂 for me the last 10 weeks absolutely flew, I do feel like I’ve been pregnant forever because we found out literally two days after my missed period but 30 weeks to now feels like absolutely no time at all! Physically I’ve had a really straightforward pregnancy except these last couple of weeks where everything is heavy, my blood pressure has been playing silly buggers and I am definitely waddling (I’d done so well!) but honestly 30 weeks to now has absolutely flown! I haven’t taken enough bump pictures or made the most of maternity leave and now it’s basically baby go day and I do not feel ready at all 😂😂

Baby Tagliatelle is a thing. ❤

I do have a small bleed, though, so gotta be on my best behaviour for the next little bit.

I’d finally started to relax the last few days as my tests got insanely dark last week and I’ve had no pain or cramping or any reason to worry at all. But now today I’ve had some brown discharge and some red on wiping tonight so I can’t help but feel like the worst is happening. My husband is trying to reassure me and tell me it’s probably because I’ve done a lot (true I have been non stop but the house isn’t gonna run itself is it) and he’s said I need to take it easy now - which yeah right I’m sure he’ll forget all about that tomorrow. I’ve left the living room a state and got in bed. I wonder if it will look the same in the morning.

My experience of bleeding in last pregnancy was an absolute shit show getting any help. I thought I was just miscarrying and I wanted it on my records but GP said to go straight to A+E, thought that was extreme so I called 111 instead for their advice and they said if I wouldn’t make my way to A+E they’d get me an ambulance. 😳 A+E didn’t do anything other than a cheap test strip and told me I’d miscarried, but referred me to EPAU Incase things got worse. The bleeding did slow down but my tests got darker so I did call to go into EPAU but they wouldn’t see me until 2 weeks after my referral date. So I just got left in a shit limbo of no clue what was going on in my body. Thankfully he’s 10months now..

I will see how the next day goes but I think I might just arrange to speak to GP on Monday and just straight up ask for a referral after my last pregnancy and having a miscarriage before. The anxiety is too much. I hate that this is happening before Christmas, there is just so much to do and I can’t cope with it 😭

New to this thread but had a very faint positive today and having a bit of a meltdown. My cycles are still a bit all over the place since I stopped breastfeeding last September, so i could be late but also not late. I just had very odd cramps and a weird feeling that made me test. Anyway, would obviously be thrilled if it does progress, but I’m going to Australia for a month in 2 weeks and had HG with my first two pregnancies, and I just don’t know how to manage that on the other side of the world, or on the plane with 1 year old on my lap. Also had a missed miscarriage before so anxiety is kicking in. Not told anyone yet but felt an anonymous forum was the best place to get it off my chest!

Just carefully placing myself in here!
Tested positive this week so very early days, long history of loss so I am very cautious but very hopeful that baby number 2 is coming. Have a scan in a couple of weeks - thankfully life with a toddler doesn’t give me much time to stress about it :ROFLMAO:

This is probably going to sound so weird and I am probably just having a pregnancy moment, but has any first time mums had a bit of a wobble about how little time they feel they have left? Like I'm 35 weeks on sunday, and just had a sudden realisation that the past 5 years it has only been me and mr mog, and we'll never get that time back just us 2, which does sound kind of selfish and unkind but I'm finding it hard to come to terms with now we are so close to meeting baby mog. Not at all saying I am ungrateful or anything, but it just hit me all at once 🥲 Just thought I'd ask if anyone else has had the same thoughts and feelings x
