Picked up some of those Emma’s Diary freebie bag things which had pregnacare vitamins in it. Thought I’d just use them up but I feel like I’ve had diarrhoea since. Well, first constipation and now diarrhoea. SUCH FUN! I have also started eating this traybake thing with dates in it so maybe that’s not helping? Who knows.

35 weeks today. So ready for mat leave, so done with the intensity of my job, feeling so massive and have this horrid sciatica pain in my a cheek which won’t go away and I can’t even find the exercise stuff the back physio gave me to help it. I have been seeing the weak bladder physio and she gave me some sort of instruction about organising my next appt and OF COURSE I cant remember what it is. I was to wait till the admin can back from holiday and then phone and ask for an appointment at a particular time. I cannot remember what that time was.

Have been hanging off my sofa daily but I’m 80% sure that I can still feel the boy’s rather large head at the top of my bump. His movements have turned into weird Mexican waves as well.

First trimester bloat is unreal , amazing how I have forgotten about it . I'm nursing out of all my pants and they are so uncomfortable. Dresses and loose pants for the foreseeable

I haven’t worn jeans since about week 7 and haven’t worn a wired bra since about then either 😂 even in second trimester I’m still so bloated - can’t work out what’s baby and what’s bloat half the time even now! I have been living in floaty dresses and wide leg trousers since just after Easter and I have no idea what I’m going to do when autumn hits and I can’t dress summery and floaty any more 😂

Oh the jeans were neglected the minute I pissed on the stick 😂😂 I must hide all these pants again on myself so I don't get too depressed... I just feel so much more bloated , I said it to my husband last night but he said he didn't want to say anything as id probably get insulted 😂

Maternity skinny jeans were life changing for me till the warmer weather came! Dunno if I’ll ever go back to my proper skinnies…

I’ve really stubbornly bought barely any maternity clothes (just pjs and leggings because comfort) and just worn floaty things and wide leg trousers that I already had, but I am definitely leaning towards getting myself some maternity jeans…

I've just been on a raid of Vinted because Master Kestrel is now very much making himself physically visible and I had to go to town yesterday in my last surviving pair of shorts that were 'buttoned up' using a hair elastic under a baggy t-shirt

annoying thing is I'm a 34" leg in jeans and it seems for most clothes retailers who do tall sizes, you are EITHER tall OR pregnant you are NOT BOTH
(did find some Long Tall Sally jeans on Vinted for a couple of quid so I can't moan)

Everything I’ve bought recently has all come from Vinted, it’s an absolute goldmine for maternity stuff! Like I say I’ve only bought pjs and leggings so far that are actually maternity but they’ve all been under a tenner and in most cases under a fiver, just makes sense as we don’t know if we’ll have another yet after Baby amarantine and I don’t want tonnes of nice maternity stuff that I bought new! Fully intending to scour Vinted for baby clothes too, though I think we’re getting a loft-full of baby stuff from my brother and his partner, so don’t want to buy too much!

Maternity leggings are ace. I tried a pair of normal leggings at one point and they fit but sort of cut my bump even more in half than it already looks! I love that maternity leggings basically tuck under my bra 🤣 so comfy! I am still wearing a surprising amount of my normal clothes, many of my dresses and quite a few of my t-shirts, they fit differently but they still fit! Even some of my elasticated trousers are ok.

Oh god, the struggle must be real! I have stumpy legs and have had to sort of fold some of the maternity leggings up a bit but it’s doable. But Vinted is amazing, 99% of my mat gear and quite a lot of the boy’s stuff is from there!

I started wearing maternity leggings for the gym at honestly about 10 weeks because normal ones felt too tight and they were such a revelation! I feel the same about massive maternity knickers too 🤣 all of my normal knickers I can still wear because who doesn’t size up in their knickers! But they roll down under my bump and I feel like I’m constantly hoiking them back up again 😂 it’s only the last couple of weeks I feel like the bump has really appeared, I have been able to hide it with looser fitted T-shirts, midi skirts and flowy dresses, and suddenly it’s very much there and taking some getting used to!

I wore a lot of my normal clothes to gym. I got 2 bigger t-shirts and a pregnancy yoga pants from decathlon, those came in handy the last 2-3 months.

I’ve decided not to bother with maternity pants and just bought one size up of Primark’s full briefs, it’s working well for me! My boobs haven’t actually gotten any bigger which is a relief as they are like J cups anyway, so I’ve just stuck to my normal bras. Will need to schlep to Bravissimo for a couple of nursing bras and hope my boobs don’t become Katie Price massive if I manage to breastfeed and my milk comes in. The one thing I’m struggling with is my shoes, the foot bloat is real 🤣🤣

My feet have stayed the same which I am delighted about as I already have properly chunky little trotters, size 4 but so wide! My boobs have gone up at least a cup size, though I’ve not been wearing proper bras since honestly we found out because my boobs were so sore! I need to get nursing bras too as hoping to breastfeed but I swear my boobs just keep growing so I have no idea what size I’ll need by the time I’m thinking about nursing bras! Most of my clothes have fitted fine until a couple of weeks ago except anything that buttons up, I was already an E cup (small back size though) so my normal clothes size has always been a bit hit and miss with buttoning up but honestly since about 6 weeks they’ve just been getting bigger and bigger 😂

Oh myyyy God trapped wind! Woke me up at 2am. Managed to get a bit moving sorry for tmi but still hurts and am currently rocking hunched up on bathroom floor. Had it about a week ago too but was a t a much more socially acceptable time of day. Didn’t have it in my last pregnancy and seriously hope this doesn’t become A Thing in this pregnancy.

Ohhh, it is the absolute worst isn’t it! I had it much more in the first trimester and it was grim, now I’m mostly just bloated as hell and so constipated, until it goes the other way for about two days then back to constipation again. I also know this is TMI but good god there is nothing dignified about being pregnant is there 😂

Also I’ve found something new to worry about, yay! Baby is quite active now at 22 weeks but even at the 20 week scan baby was fine and they didn’t have any concerns but I’ve been really digging into the measurements we have and they’re all (except the abdominal circumference!) a bit smaller than average. I’m sure at our next midwife appointment in a few weeks I’m going to be told baby is small and to go for a growth scan (no reason to think this aside from our 20 week scan and my own gut instinct which is usually spot on) - and I know this happens to so many people but doesn’t stop me worrying about it! Just needed a little rant 😂

Had our 12 week scan and twinnies are looking fab, both measuring 12+4 so a due date of 1st March (although they will most likely be out mid-Feb!) Screening measurements were all within normal range, so just waiting for blood results next.

You will 100% still worry no matter what anyone tells you. However do remember that those ultra sound measurements are estimates and depends on a lot of different factors. You could get two different people measuring and two different results. The main thing is that you are getting the extra scans and monitoring. Worse case scenario they'll get their eviction notice at around 37 weeks if you are otherwise ok and they are worried about baby size
