We have a mamas and papas occaro at home but for holiday we bought a cheapish umbrella fold one. It’s been brilliant. So lightweight and you’re not worried about it getting chucked around on the plane! We now use it for nursery run as well as they have a store cupboard you can leave small fold up strollers in. Again- no worries about it getting damaged or going missing

24 weeks today which is one of my milestones in this pregnancy.

I’m absolutely floored by anxiety and paranoia and the threat of danger all around me. Like my mentally unwell SIL who seems to think she’ll be our childcare and will drive the baby around despite the fact her license has been revoked because of her MH. I’m having nightmares about her harming our baby at our wedding. The slightest disappointment or stress or irrational thought is sending me over the edge. Like the creeps coming onto our shared driveway after sunset and leaving a dodgy looking trailer but legally we don’t have a leg to stand on. Who are these strangers creeping around our flat??

My next psychologist appointment can’t come soon enough.

If you get one of these, make sure you bend the bar in it - just rub it to warm it up in your hands, and then give it a slightly bend around the angled part to contour it to your wrist shape (in a neutral position) otherwise it won't work!

I can't get enough of ice lollies. Has anyone else had this craving? I'm feeling sick if I drink too much water and I don't want to have fizzy juice all the time. But today I've had 3 calipos 😂😂

Yep. This is the one craving that has lasted through the whole of my pregnancy. I also went through a Calippo phase but currently it’s Twisters. I’ve had two tonight before dinner 🤣

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've had other cravings previously, but i'm definitely in my ice lolly era now. Just told my bf I'm excited because there's a Tesco next to my midwife appointment tomorrow so I can get more.

I'm sorry you're feeling like this and that things are happening around you that are making it worse. MH when pregnant is such a wild ride, your brain is trying so hard to protect you and baby. That's good you have a professional to talk to.

Told my mum one of our baby names today after she’s begged for months and recommended loads of obscure, rare and old fashioned horrible names. She’s been saying for ages how ‘she wants to get the baby’s name right’ and she’s ’been researching’.. without us asking her or wanting her to mind you. Straight away she was rude and dismissive of it (we said a nice normal fairly common name everyone in here will have heard of that suits a baby at all life stages). Back to not telling a soul it is 🙃

I'm sorry to hear this. My dad was trying to ask me about our names this weekend but I wouldn't say. I honestly can just see him coming over for weeks after our baby is born and saying this like, are you sure about this name? What.abour this name instead etc?

Nooo cos this will be my mum also 😭😂 my dad won’t mind at all but my mum is so overbearing. Such a small stupid thing but it’s made my pregnancy hormones rage haha

We told my MIL our potential name for our first and she continued to use it constantly… consequently I went off that name pretty darn quick

We've had the opposite with my MIL - she is so excited by our names and keeps suggesting ones. Not to try and influence us, but because she's so excited for her first grandchild that she just keeps thinking of names. It's actually been so sweet. And she's totally fine if we say that the name she suggested isn't for us. But my parents just aren't like that so I haven't told them any names haha

We had our names for a loooong time but each time someone asked we just said ugh no idea please send suggestions. I of course ignored every suggestion, but there was no way I was telling anyone as I know what people are like!

We never told anyone our firsts name until he was born, I think a few people were like huh that’s unusual but thankfully no suggestion’s or real judgement.

Plan on keeping our chosen name quiet again until this one is born as well, though my number 1 choice we can’t use now because my partner already told people - I’m sure he did it on purpose cause he didn’t like it. I was hoping it would grow on him lol

I’m so stuck for boy names that work with our LOs name plus our last name!

I accidentally slipped out firsts name to my mum and I could tell she wasn’t keen. Fast forward to when he got he she loved the name and said she couldn’t imagine him with any other! Probably why you shouldn’t share the names!

Took maternity at 36 weeks because of annual leave, I’m on my second week and I am so bored 🤣 there’s only so much cleaning and organising I can do

We told my in-laws a name we almost went with (Delilah) and was met with disgust and upturned noses. What’s wrong with Delilah?! We changed the name we wanted years ago but now whenever anyone asks I tell them Renesmee to troll them. 👀

I guess I'm the only one but I've literally told the name to everyone who asked so far. 😂 I'm surprised because I've not received one bad comment yet, but I also put a disclaimer it was my husband's grandmother's name so I guess no one can be too disrespectful. I learned during this pregnancy that I'm a huge over-sharer anyways and I just tell everyone everything. 😂 But people around me all seem to be very normal and chill and respectful which makes it easier.
