I had the exact same just a day or two before my 8 week midwife appointment, my midwife reassured me and said it was normal and just if it happened again to let them know especially if fresh blood. I did worry right the way up the 12 week scan though but all was ok.
40+3, every morning I wake up disappointed I’m not in labour… this is worse than the TWW!!!
Going back to weird dreams I had a dream the other night Phillip Schofield stole my baby and lied saying I'd been his surrogate so he could get sympathy from the public

I’m not sure if anyone here has been/is in the same boat as me - but worth a shot….
I fractured/broke my pelvis just over 18 months ago, had no surgery (thankfully) but just bed/house rest for 6 weeks to let it heal. Thought all was ok up until last month (approx 18/20wks) but have had the most horrendous pain ever at work in the evenings leading into the next day… It disappeared after about 2/3wks and now back with a vengeance. I’ve mentioned this to a midwife today and they said they’d refer me today for a consultant to look at X-rays etc etc but I’m really struggling with the pain. I’ve been pretty open/ok with the fact that this might end up in a c-sect and that doesn’t bother me - just wondering what I can do in the meantime

Well, baby flower is here! Started to be induced on Friday, made no progress even after two propesses and then had a sweep at 2cm. Then had the 6hr tablet which was fully dissolved by 3am yesterday, had back to back contractions allllll day and I mean it was horrific, as was only able to use gas & air and I was very sick on it.
Ended up opting for a c section and I’m so glad I did as she was a whopping 10lbs. She’s got fluid on her chest and has been transferred to another hospital to me and it breaks my heart that I’m not with her at the minute, even though I know she’s in the best place. Best day of my life meeting her but absolutely horrendous circumstances. Would do it all again for her though, we’re so in love with her 🩷

Oh gosh hope you are ok, Can they refer you for some physio? It might be where everything is moving down there to make space for baby and yours can’t move how it wants to due to the previous injury, some physio may help get things moving. I’m having some at the moment for pelvic girdle pain.I’m not sure if anyone here has been/is in the same boat as me - but worth a shot….

silly question really but anybody had a 'gut' feeling from the beginning that the baby was definitely a boy/girl? this baby was a big shock but as soon as i saw that positive test I've only been able to see a boy! i am trying to also vision a girl so if i'm wrong i'm not 'disappointed' but even the few people i've told (not 12wks yet) have also told me they think it's a boy.
am i just odd ladies help me out

I had a strong feeling from the offset that mine was a boy as straight away I didn’t really have a “dye stealer” test then had nausea but no bad sickness and then at the 12 week scan I couldn’t see any nubs to do the nub test but baby had a very square looking forehead. Everyone who saw the scan said girl but I just knew in my gut baby was a boy, we then found out at the 20 week scan he was a definitely a boy! I would of been more surprised if they said girl though I didn’t care either way, I just was convinced boy!silly question really but anybody had a 'gut' feeling from the beginning that the baby was definitely a boy/girl? this baby was a big shock but as soon as i saw that positive test I've only been able to see a boy! i am trying to also vision a girl so if i'm wrong i'm not 'disappointed' but even the few people i've told (not 12wks yet) have also told me they think it's a boy.

ah thanks both makes me feel less mad!! i know of course i could be wrong but its such a strong gut feeling!!
