Every few days I look through a guy’s timeline I used to follow on Twitter. He’s a fantasist. Comes up with the most amazing stories at times. Today’s one is that a cruise missile landed near him and his colleagues but he managed to drag them to safety. Mate if one of those landed you’d be bleeping obliterated 😂

I like doing Google searches on what life was like back in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s (all before my time)

Particularly interested in fashion, music and home interior design. And I have to say - OMG!!! (especially the 70s:ROFLMAO: )

Go ‘window shopping’ on online clothes stores picking whole outfits
Go on pets 4 homes and look at all the cute kittens and pick out which one I would have if I could

I like looking up old car models we’ve had on eBay (eg Metros, Calibras) and seeing if any are still going, how much for, and whether there’s a super-immaculate one that’s barely been driven.

I used to like looking through the Argos catalogue and seeing which was the most expensive of anything.

Drop a pin on Google Maps and explore the area. I've spent hours wandering down streets of far flung cities.

I do imaginary personal shopping on Net-a-Porter. Sometimes I'll make up a client like... a CEO who wants to let everyone at her school reunion know that she's 'made it' or boho wedding dress for a socialite. Or challenges like the most expensive outfit that looks like it was purchased in the BooHoo sale.

Lots of house related searching, I spend hours on rightmove looking. Sometimes it's local or places I know or used to live in, other times I just hear a place-name and have a search. Also, house prices....fascinated! Also love streetview and look up all sorts of places. Went to pick stuff up from a school mum the other day and had not only done a map of directions but had streetviewed her road and knew how much she paid for it in 2013.

On a similar vein I've often researched people online, not to do anything with the info, more just to know I can. People are scarily open! Case in point, I liked a picture someone had put up on Instagram which is near where my parents live and she had lots of pictures from round about there too so I followed her. Got nosey one day as she had put a picture up of the view from her front garden and I recognised it as the same road as my parents. Didn't take me long to work out exactly where she lived, where she used to live, all her family members names and where she worked. Just as well I don't have ulterior motives 🤣

I scroll through auction catalogues on The Saleroom/i-Bidder. Sometimes pretending in my head I'm a Del-Boy wheeler dealer, sometimes art collector, sometimes wine collector, sometimes just random tit like memorabilia etc as if I'm like one of those people with sheds of stuff on that TV show American Pickers.

Meme pages on Instagram...not sure how I would get through life without memes tbh

Also I came across a few strange reviews on Argos ages ago when I was genuinely looking for a few things I needed to buy, see below reviews for digital luggage scales and travel iron. I occasionally look through product reviews to see if I can find any gems like these ones 😂

I search for most people I come across in real life on social media cos im so nosy.
Also ,when I find out where someone lives, I look up their house on rightmove sold prices to see how long they lived there and what it looked like inside. It is disappointing when they rent .
Hahaha I do this too

I am always on rightmove, irrespective of whether I’m happy where I am living. I just love seeing which houses are overpriced, which houses are still on the market - some have been on the market for 5 years running - love getting ideas for my own home and those decorating schemes to avoid. 🤣
Haha - my partner loves doing this! He has alerts set up for various locations and budgets. In fairness he does want to move to one of these places once day...for now he is completely day dreaming!

Tracking planes if I hear one flying over to see where it’s come from / going.

Rightmove looking at properties I’ll probably never afford.

Looking at menus of restaurants/ take aways when I have no plans to go or get said take away.

Reading trip advisor and various other sites to find out about far flung and crazy places.
