I've just finished Gangster, a BBC sounds one. First series about Paul Massey and second about Curtis Warren. Was really good.

A mix of genres from me:

Old God's of Appalachia (highly recommend this one)
Borresca
Lore
Fictional
Myths and Legends
True Crime Obsessed
Tell me a story by Eddie Linehan (this is by an Irish folk lore expert)
From Now
Edge of Sleep
Dark Woods (crime one by fool Wolf from Law and Order)
Supernatural with Ashley Flowers

Nothing Much Happens and Get Sleepy (both for helping you sleep, I have trouble sleeping and these actually work for me)

The Ensigns Log (comedy podcast based on Star Trek)

I started off with the red-handed podcast but it made me a bit uncomfortable listening to some of the stories as the girls would laugh at really inappropriate times.
I listen to seeing red now. They have a great selection of true crime, both a mixed bag of solved and unsolved cases. I find both hosts really easy to listen too and they really bring their chosen stories to life in my opinion.

The GAA catfish is something else 🙈. A story you cannot even begin to describe. Once you listen to it there's a few threads on tattle somewhere about it that make for interesting reading.

Thanks for the recommendation from fool wolf I LOVE all things law and order so will give that podcast a listen tomorrow 😊

I’d be interested in giving the GAA catfish a go…is there a particular pod? I searched it on my apple podcast thing that I use and it brought up some random stuff.

Listening to Can I Tell You A Secret which is a Guardian podcast about a cyber stalker and their victims. Worth a listen.

loved this!

ive just binged on all of the Danny Robins paranormal podcasts (battersea poltergeist/uncanny/witch farm), so so interesting! They’re all paranormal stories with multiple eye witness accounts from people who say they don’t believe in ghosts but can’t explain what they saw, very very unsettling stories! He also has sceptic on there who often has very interesting explanations for the phenomena people experience.

has anyone got any other recommendations for paranormal podcasts? I’m obsessed!

Just finished Hoaxed which was a good one, from the host of the Sweet Bobby podcast.

I also like Wheel of Misfortune on bbc sounds, Alison Spittle makes me laugh. She was a guest on the Off Menu podcast which I’ve only recently found and absolutely love! Working my way through the back catalogue.

Just listened to this podcast and enjoyed it
(Warning ⚠ it does contain references to child sexual abuse and murder but not in horrific detail)

Just finished Sweet Bobby based off a recommendation from someone. Really enjoyed it. Going to try Hoaxed next as I see it’s available without a subscription to tortoise now! Still living for celebrity memoir book club with Chelsea on Fridays though!

I discovered Grief Cast hosted by Cariad Lloyd. I've listened to a couple & really enjoyed them weirdly. It's a good one if you've experienced loss or grief. The Tom Allen one was really heartfelt.

I’ve never come across someone who enjoyed ear hustle like I did! It was my firm favourite for so long and the first podcast I loved and got into!

Hoaxed is available on Spotify if you have that.

I love a podcast - find they really help me focus when working as music can distract me.
The podcasts I enjoy/have enjoyed

-Sweet Bobby
- Pig Iron
- Ear Hustle
- My therapist ghosted me
- Queen of the Con
- Hoaxed (I didn’t like this as much as other documentary podcasts but still enjoyable)
- Can I tell you a secret
- Harsh Reality - Miriam Rivera was good also

searched for this thread as I’m all out of my favourite podcasts and need some new recommendations

I didn’t enjoy Hoaxed as much either. I couldn’t get in to ‘can I tell you a secret’.

I’m trying ‘your own backyard’ out as it has been recommended on here. Really enjoying it!
