The only good thing was some of the people I met there & the days at the academy

I paid for a one day one-to-one course with them years ago. I was told on the day that it had been moved to the Middleton shop. I arrived on time to a closed shop. About 20 mins later, a girl arrived and let me in. I had to sit for a further 20 mins whilst she opened up, turned lights on, set up etc. Then 2 models arrived... one of these girls had just turned 14 which I thought was disgusting.
We were going to do 2 different looks. Once we’d done the first, it was lunch time, so I went to get a sandwich. Came back 15 mins later and we started the second look.
In the middle of the second look, the trainers phone rang... she said it was Paige and she’s really upset (personal reasons), and that we’d need to hurry up with the second look as she needed to go and see Paige!
I felt pretty pissed off having paid good money for this absolutely farce of an experience. In terms of the makeup... all I learned was how to put makeup on a 14 year old! The trainer said that they use the same base for ALL ages (I was in my 30s at the time, and despite having pretty good skin even if I do say so myself there’s no way that base would look good on me at all!) As a working makeup artist, I can tell you that 14 year olds have made up zero of my earnings!! At the time I did the training, I’d been working as a mua for 5 years and its real life everyday people that pay your bills. Any makeup trainee should be teaching to do makeup on ALL ages, skin tones and skin types, otherwise you’ll never make it.
It was a waste of money and time.

The thing is she doesn't deserve it and in a perfect world we would all be able to brag about what we have and not run the risk of people taking advantage but we don't live in that world and people are disgusting and will literally rob you blind. So, unfortunately when you brag constantly whilst disguising it as humble "look how far I've come" you make yourself a target, its the same reason I've been brought up to keep at least 2 lights on in the house to deter robbers. It's just the world we live in.

Her customer service is a joke! On a makeup group on Facebook a girl posted that the paints & bases just don't work for her. (She's got hooded lids & it's settling in the crease) & Paige said "are you using the patting motion babe... the pa pa pat will change the formula finish" then finally said she'll put a video up of the technique this week once she digs though old footage. Just stop manifesting for 5 minutes and remake new footage. A helpful reply would have been best first.

Course she’s back at the house... she keeps posting videos of that girl doing the splits in her walk in wardrobe (you know, as you do). I think she’s lived with about 4 different people during lockdown, and has been in work with loads of other people throughout. This of course all comes after her lecturing us all on the importance of staying at home (anyone remember those constant daily stories at the beginning of lockdown?) But it’s all ok because she can manifest herself better if she gets ill... she’s like a modern day Jesus

If she was posting regularly about eating healthily and exercising, and she hadn’t had a BBL, whether she was overweight or not, id have a lot more respect for her showing her body and talking about her progress. But she’s constantly at Starbucks and McDonalds... and she has had a BBL. She needs to just shut up about her body because, as another poster stated, there’s a lot of young girls out there that follow her that will think that if you go to her PT (who she’s rarely ever with!), you can eat and drink what you like and get a slim waist... it’s just deceitful.

My friend did the 6 month course where you attend plouise academy once a week . I modelled first her around 6 times and only once did I see Paige for roughly 5 minutes. The course is a joke there was about 3 foundations between the class and had to be shared and products passed around so if you was moving on to bronzer you would have to just sit and wait until the trainee( my friend ) would have to wait till someone else had finished . Also the woman who works there Abbie I think her name is I could be wrong 40’s chubby lady Shouted at me First time I entered as I sat on the stool and put my handbag at the side of the stool ( I wasn’t aware the stool lid came off for storage ) for breaching health and safety and putting my bag on the floor . As a visitor I was mortified . The place looks really nice on insta but really it’s literally just in a back st of a high st down a back alley . To be fair her staff are nice especially lucy dunwood and Jordanne .. the rest didn’t bother to speak to us
