I love watching aircraft investigation! I actually am cabin crew but I used to be terrified of flying before I did the job

But I find it fascinating. I never feel scared up in the air anymore-I’m more scared in a car. My partner is a pilot and I never worry when he goes to work either - I worry more when I know hes tired and driving home.
But like some of you on here I have a lot of vivid dreams about planes crashing. It’s always outside my childhood home and it either crashes into a field or I see it falling out of the sky. I have it quite often and leaves me unsettled. I have no idea what it means!
Also -as crew it’s frustrating when I watched back the footage of the aircraft that burst into flames on the runway of BA aircraft in Las Vegas- the passengers were all evacuating the aircraft with their bags/ luggage. This is so important to leave behind, I can’t stress this enough. We only have 90 seconds to try and clear an aircraft and it really is the difference between life and death. I know it’s natural to want to get your belongings but don’t do it at the risk of someone else’s life.
