8 piercings open - 3 in left lobe, 5 in right, nostril and septum. My septum wasn't pierced in the right place and was the painful piercing/healing I've ever experienced.

7 closed piercing - cartilage, daith, 2 in lip, tongue and 2 in bellybutton. I gave up on my daith after a year as I just couldn't cope with the pain anymore.

Multiple tattoos in many different places, actually fell asleep during my last lot on my arm :LOL: I spent my teens/20s thinking I would never have visible tattoos but 2 years ago I decided duck it and got a full arm sleeve. I will definitely be getting many more., just about saving up.

I got my daith done today and I love it. It barely hurt just felt warm straight after. My 3rd lobes hurt more

Not exactly exciting, but the memory of this still makes me laugh.

I had my ears pierced in the jeweller's in the 70s. Lovely sensible 9ct gold studs with real emerald green glass inserts. I really can't remember it hurting 'that' much, but ...

In the early 80s my friend & I went on holiday to Blackpool. She'd never had her ears pierced and was desperate to have them done, so when we went to this large dept store which had a sign saying Ear Piercing, she decided this was the time. Now, I wanted my right ear double-pierced so I could wear two different earrings in just the one ear - believe it or not, dear children - this was considered rather edgy & daring in the early 80s 😁 especially since we both came from the sticks.

Anyway. As she was a bit nervous, I went first. The young girl doing the piercings looked about 16 - Lord only knows how qualified she was ... and the earrings were anything but 9ct gold, more a big clunky-looking gold plated thing. So. Ear pierced. Christ, it hurt like hell, it felt as though a huge tree-trunk had been injected into my lug - I thought my ear was on fire.

So up I got. Was it sore? friend asked. Nooo, didn't feel a thing, I lied, because I really didn't want to put her off. Then her turn. Jesus, you'd have heard her all over that store: 'AAAAARRRRGGGHH!!!' she yelled (there may have been a swear word too) 'You told me that didn't hurt!' she said. 'Well, haven't you got it done now, it's all over', I said. 'No! Because I'm getting the TWO of mine done', she says.

Got a hidden helix piercing on Friday and jt doesnt hurt at all but keeps bleeding 😭😭

I got one tattoo on my upper arm 30 years ago, never felt like getting another.
I'd probably like to have it removed tbh.

This might be the holy grail but does anyone have any reccs for earrings that don’t go green?

I wear gold or rose gold. I’ve tried Astrid & M but not a huge fan, and looking for cheap ish if possible as I don’t want to spend £50 per earring. High street or online is fine!
