I watched the interview the other day. I did not find anything odd about it.

Well... great... I’m pleased?
I more meant the beard/monkey suit inference sounds like it’s written by someone who knows him, or knows news is about to break in light of PS’s statement yesterday.
I keep changing my mind on this! Yesterday I was quite moved by the public show of affection and how genuine it came across between the 4 hosts on TM. However scanning social media anyone else think it's funny Ruth hasn't posted anything at all yet most other high profile personalities have.
I thought Ruth and Eamonn both looked as awkward as duck yesterday. And I thought Eamonn's "joke" about Schofield quitting was VERY telling. Many a true word spoken in jest and all that.
And the only reason Eamonn has posted a 'supportive' message is so he can basically say duck off to everyone criticising him at the end of it

She hasn’t and she won’t ... it’s one thing to be seen as sympathetic and the TM team all rallying round him to be supportive
and totally another to actually be personally supportive... the jokes Eamonn made were to cover awkwardness from weeks of animosities.
I thought the timing was suspect. To sign up just to put that post up seems odd too.

Also, Dr Ranj was married to a woman for 5 years before coming out...remember when it is was revealed when he did strictly.
I refuse to acknowledge that poster. It is one thing to speculate about a person's sexual orientation and entirely another to suggest they are interested in children (which was what was implied in their suggestive post and also their choice of username). Two completely different things: one is fine (being gay) and one is unthinkable (pursuing children). To link the two just for the sake of stirring the pot is morally wrong.
Then this poster followed up with something like "isn't it funny how quickly Phillip responded", as though Phillip has been browsing Tattle and found he was about to be outed on a gossip forum so figured he must break the news himself.
I think it's simply a coincidence that this poster came on here to say that Phillip is gay- and so many of us already knew that- and that Phillip came out a couple of weeks (?) after that post.
It's highly unlikely that someone 'in the know' decided to crumb on TL.

Stuart wasnt gay and wasnt one of his hook ups. He went there for a party and was brutally grape which caused internal injuries then he was put in the pool
He works on loose women apparently. Left this morning a few months ago!
Dignified silence, a lot to be said. Not much use to us on here but then again...
I think these so called 'celebs' are the same, only thinking of themselves and will all lie, cheat and step over anyone in order to get where they want to be, all have over inflated egos, the media and the wages they get don't help matters, all putting them up on pedestals, the amount of media coverage this has got is so OTT, don't see the media printing anything about what's been going on in France for over a year, people dying etc etc. But will now keep this story going for weeks to come
I couldn't care less that he's gay, he's not 'brave' for coming out, people crying over him saying how amazing he is for it, FFS people need to wake up and get their heads out their arses,and stop believing everything that's printed,

I’ve just read the interview posted a few pages back before he married Steph. A few of his replies seem off from a straight man (or at least a an who claimed to be).
Is he in love? ‘I think so, I think so. What does being in love mean? We get on very well. She's very close to me and we're good mates. - talking about the woman you are dating and have been living with for a year as good mates...
And is he monogamous? ‘I tend to be monogamous because I'm terrified of Aids,' he has said. - surely this was not a concerned for a man only sleeping with women in the 90s?
Has he ever had a sexual relationship with a man, even as a schoolboy? ‘No. That sort of thing didn't happen at my comprehensive,' he says, sitting in yellow shorts like bathing trunks and a sleeveless USA Sporting T-shirt. He has airbrushed good looks and copper eyes, with spiky gelled hair and bronzed shoulders to match. ‘I never felt like it, no, absolutely not. Quite a lot of men I know have, but not necessarily me. I would never sleep with a man, but I'm not homophobic - again to me this is not denying it, almost noting he hasn't had the opportunity.
This interview makes me think Steph did know, and I hope for her sake she did. To be made to feel like your 27 year marriage was all a lie must be shattering.

Was just reading comments on the DM. One said a story was about to be broken this weekend and it forced his hand. Another mentioned a ‘ballet dancer flatmate’ that was about to be outed.
Could all be speculation, who knows!
My friends husband is in ‘the industry’ and she told me that it wasn’t a secret that PS was gay. I think his wife must’ve known, and they probably had some sort of arrangement. I think perhaps, his daughters may not have known. Hense all the ‘My family’ schpiel on TM.

Oh definitely, Ranj has spoken about his wedding and wife with fondness and said things are not black and White when it comes to who you fall in love with.
He has said it may take time for his parents but his brothers were brilliant and supportive when he told them.
It did make me think if Phillip has waited until his father passed away but I doubt it. It's good Phillip has this support and may encourage others to talk about/accept their feelings.

I would love to know if all these "gushers" who are applauding him for his bravery would be gushing as much if it was their partner of 30 years coming out. Regardless what he says his wife must be truly broken. Knowing your life with your partner was a lie.
