Are people forgetting Caitlyn Jenner came out as trans with numerous children and while married? Times used to be a lot different, being gay wasn't spoken about so much or widely accepted. I am not a fan of Phillip, in fact, don't watch UK tv but I just feel it's a bit unfair to question WHY and WHEN someone comes out. I am straight so no idea how that journey would be but I am going to guess not an easy one.

I am not trying to start anything. I like that on Tattle we can have discussions and different opinions. Maybe I am just trying to be optimistic in a world that has seemed so tit recently. Haha.

I mean you said the tabloids wouldn't run a story without proof because he's Mr nice guy ...Barrymore's your Mr nice guy proof they don't give a duck who they tear down for a story ( not sticking up for Barrymore in the slightest btw) they have no proof on the Lubbock affair ....what everyone's confused about is why Schofield has decided to come out now if there was no need ? sure we would be none the wiser ,he's been gay for yrs and has anybody noticed?..(or give a flying duck) no on my part...

you realise this was 19/20 years ago right? And it included a pool and a dead body?

Exactly, the tabloids and media in general are a very different beast nowadays,
They’d face huge backlash from running a story like this, especially without the person themselves speaking out first!!!

It just wouldn’t happen nowadays 🤷‍♀️

I hear you but I kind of understand that it’s different for everyone. I never “came out” I just bought a new partner round for Sunday dinner and it happened to be a girl, no eyebrows raised (mother did go above and beyond to be nice to her though, much more than she did with my current (male) partner 🤣) but I also have a friend whose been living with her partner for over 10 years and they have never spent a Christmas together because she feels her family would have an issue with it, I’m sure they’ve guessed because they own a home and business together but 🤷🏼‍♀️
It’s different for everyone I guess

Because channel 4 had done a documentary into his death that aired last night.

The same thing happened to a girl friend. Married with two boys and hubby drinks every night and sleeps on the sofa......only to announce he is gay. So sad.

This is totally off topic so apologies to everyone else, il leave it at this...

In my opinion, 20 years ago and now, once you have the corpse of one of your hook ups on your property,
you should know your Mr nice guy role is in tattlers and ITV will probably replace you with ant or dec.
