I suspect most of the young men that Phillip had close relationships where he ‘took them under his wing’ IE was a ‘creepy old queen’ as another posted described, are still working in the TV industry or in the Theatre and would not ever want to speak up. How do you even come to terms with it yourself or admit it to those around you that you may have got ahead in the industry due to being groomed by Phillip Schofield.
I agree that Ben P holds the key as another teen that Phillips became close with and clearly developed into a sexual relationship. The fact Phillip was a character witness in his revenge porn case speaks volumes to me that Phillip would put his neck on the line like that. I suspect Ben put pressure on him to do it as he has so much on Phillip so he had no choice.
I suspect Ben P is continuing to be financial supported by Phillip and that they still have a very close
relationship so it would take a lot for him to turn against him.
In fact I think Phillip has on the whole maintained his friendships with all these young men to keep them on side with the odd treat (financial/ gift) to keep them sweet but says it’s because they are mates.
Simon Schofield is clearly another one of Phillips young men but could never come out about it as he would have so much to loose himself with his theatre company and it would damage his own reputation especially given Phillip met MM as a young teen through Simons theatre school.
The other player in this is Tim Schofield, Phillips younger brother who claims as a teen he went around Cornwall trying to pick up teen boys with a ‘friend’. Given Phillip is 7 years older is Tim was say at best 16 at this time, Phillip would have been 23 which is already creepy! And isn’t it established that Tim was always a bit of a loser, Phillip was the charismatic one. His older brother Phillip was a homosexual and I can’t imagine there was many people Tim knew who were out who he could have picked up boys with. I would say I’m 70% sure the friend was Phillip and that him and Tim had a very odd and questionable relationship. Again though I don’t know what it would take for Tim to snap as if he told the whole sordid tail then it would likely implicate him in more criminal charges and extend his sentence and again I expect a hard thing to come to terms with yourself that your older brother acted in an inappropriate way.
Tim, Ben and Simon hold the key to all of this for sure and I suspect it is a lot worse then we can comprehend.
