Genuinely if there are people here who represent Schofe or even are him. They can get to duck because they’re a part of the problem with showbiz and the whole reason this site and thread exists.

Problem is they (celebs) all think they have a right to a private life. But I’m sorry, the media industry doesn’t work like that and they’re naive to apply basic human response and behaviour to something so complex.

Fact is TV relies on the naivety of its viewer. But then they cry when the viewer gets one up on them or calls them out on their bull tit. The media industry is one massive mix of bull though let’s be fair. They make shows and rely on the writers to review it, but hate on those who dislike it and rely on fans to watch it, but don’t like it when the audience criticises or switches off. They’re constantly feeding lies but don’t like being called out on those lies.

They’re a bunch of overpaid individuals who are the face of the show, but tit on the ones who put them on that platform (sorry that was a bit ranty)
And this is why I haven't watched telly in decades.

You aren't credible any more when you become the story.
That's basically it.
Spot on.

Haha. I mean, I was abroad working on a show and it came up in conversation with a couple of senior producers and we were talking about celebs we’d worked with and who’s nice and who’s not (as you do)

And we somehow got talking about the Beckham’s and how their whole marriage is fake, it’s for the press and it’s just for the sake of money and how they’re a British export etc. And it turns out David will be out at up market clubs and bars for nights out and he’ll send one of his team over to a girl he likes and they’ll say something like “David wants to spend some time with you this evening, please sign this NDA” and from there he basically spends the evening with them and goes back to wherever.

And apparently Victoria likes big muscular and hung black men🤷‍♂️🍆🤭

Also - just had word from my friend that his mate (who’s a girl) has been asked out by Matt McGreevy. So he’s bisexual (again, not that it matters) but I’m a bit stumped because I just figured he was gay.

I must get my gaydar tested 🧐
Maybe MM wasn’t sure of his own sexuality when he started at TM?I’m thinking working with a big star when you are basically a nobody, more especially if you are very young and impressionable, you’d do anything to keep your job? All the stories about PS contacting young male teens via late night social media, the one young guy I read about had a girlfriend and wasn’t obviously gay. I used to work with a gay man who was attracted to very macho heterosexual men, I was never sure if it was the challenge or the thrill of the chase that he found exciting. Perhaps that's PSs thing, turning a guy. Or ‘mentoring’ him as they call it in TM/ITV land.

Regarding the "starsuckers" docu mentioned above, I've just gone to youtube to watch it on my telly.

So far it's about members of the public trying to get themselves on TV - have I found the right one?
Yes that's it from what I remember, they talk a bit about the lure of fame and all that side of things too.. I did watch it a fair few years ago. The Max Clifford stuff stuck with me though. Then they talk all about hackgate and the general corruptness of the media and PR world..

The people that made the doc were jailed for tax stuff, which I found a bit convenient /suspicious but hey ho.

Here is the wiki for an overview - definitely recommend it, I think I'll revisit it myself.

I actually liked Phillip but since that over dramatic coming out thing I have gone right off him. Think its the over confidence that put me off. Find them both annoying on this morning, rather Eamon and ruth

Loose Women returns on 4th May apparently. I have a feeling our friend Mr. McGreevy may be back on the show too. Though I'll keep you updated on if that's the case. Not that it means much but it'll still be interesting to see ITVs opinion of the lad after all the drama. The 'cover up' may have worked in his favour if he's continuing at Loose Women.

Looks like gossip is dying down on this, but if I have to be the last man standing I will haha.

so there’s this crazy person on Twitter claiming Matt McGreevy is working on This Morning still and they’ve left awful pixelated photos of a crew member next to a camera on the show. They’re adamant that it’s Matt when it 100% cant be and isn’t.

for anyone interested. Matt returned to Manchester in Feb time and left for LA to visit his family who live out there in March. He’s been there since and is posting daily updates including his runs around the local lake to his sisters.

I’ve posted this evidence to the person posting but they’re just not getting it. So I’ve given up arguing with stupid. I first wondered how he could be affording to go but it looks like he’s gone with his Dad, then staying at his sisters.

Meanwhile Schofe has moved to London and has been papped. But I think we already know this. I’m just wondering if he’s at his flat where he has the lads round to, or somewhere more local to the television centre.

Interesting you say this. My gossip originally came from a camera man who worked with Schofe on How to Spend it Well. They told me about Phil seeing the runner on his show (who we’ve now learned to be Matt).

Schofe was rude and dismissive when they tried to be polite and offer him refreshments. He said “do I look like I need a cup of tea”

Uncalled for if you ask me. Ridiculous man

Ok so who are you an

Ok so who are you and how do you know so many intimate details? It was my July 2019 post that I made public when it all came out. Thanks for the mention (I feel famous now).

Are you a fellow TV freelancer and got the scoop on this? I’m fascinated by all you’ve said and the level of detail you’ve gone into and to sum it all up - I think it’s brilliant.

hi @JimBob0346
very flattered that you ask if I might be a freelancer. Can't claim credit for all the hard work. Just summarised the salient and most relevant points from all these threads, Twitter, various web pages and social media posts, etc, as signposted by others - trying to focus on what is clear concerning behaviour by people in positions of power (whether that be in provincial theatre schools or in the mainstream media) towards young people within their immediate sphere influence and those in the public. This malign disregard for others, the narcissistic desire to prioritise their own needs and lusts regardless of the impact upon the lives of those used, abused and/or cast aside is not only sickening but needs to be challenged at every opportunity.

Like you, I watch and wait... 😊

Well me either. It would make sense that they didn’t get rid of him because then it almost confirms something is up. But he’s been posting about the show so he must still work with them.

I imagine he’ll be flying home in the next few days if he’s to start back with them from the 4th. Though his work could be done remotely as he’s office based, but doesn’t look like he’s had much work time. It’s mainly leisure activities he’s taking part in whilst out there.

Just thinking back about this article https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-...-at-taking-drugs-in-the-eighties-8580789.html

He said: “It wasn’t a case of hiding it. I did the same as everybody else. I was a lad, we partied a bit, but I didn’t hide anything. It’s just that nobody bothered to look in the right place.

He is so smug but again the lies tripped off his tongue - surely when he was being a lad with German prostitutes he was married to or with Steph?

I'm a bisexual guy, and you'd be surprised how many "straight" guys ... arent that straight. Even laddish chav boys and the like.

Certainly when it comes to men the closet is still very real.

I'm glad people care about this issue - there is a lot of talk about child abuse in Hollywood etc and it's a big issue on twitter at the moment, but it seems to be exclusively Trump supporters which I can never get my head around. Good that they care, but they also seem to think Trump is holier than thou and going to save all the children and all the 'liberal' actors and celebs are involved in Satanism and doing the most heinous things to children... I do wish more progressive sections of the population would care about this issue, as the right-wing just make it look like a crazy conspiracy, and of course there is lots of bigotry on that side of the political fence, so it just feels messy that they have taken up this baton.

(Sorry if that was a bit off topic.)

The problem is that some people haven't really helped themselves with their response to the accusations against Joe Biden. So it makes it look like the whole "believe all women" thing is actually "believe women who accuse people I dont like". Now, that might be somewhat exaggerated, but it's the impression that it gives off.

Stranger things have happened I mean look at what happened to Fern Britton, granted it was a few years ago now but she lost her job over a personal choice to do with her body that had nothing to do with the show or anyone else.

I love the narrative that trump is trying to save the children. I somehow doubt a man who bragged about grabbing women by the cat is that bothered about the welfare of children. I’ve said it before, but there’s more chance of him being involved in it all than being some kind of saviour. Absolute nonsense.

Did she? I thought it was she’d lied about it and been promoting healthy weight loss methods. So when the press reported gastric band she lost her relatable image and they didn’t really want her presenting the show anymore.

Exactly, it's the most deluded bunch I've ever seen. They make things up in their own heads and believe it - e.g. they think Oprah is involved and that she is currently under house arrest. And that there is a big 'sting operation' in force against Hollywood. But it's being kept lowkey. I can't see any evidence of any of this, but they believe it. It's a cult mentality.

Agree - it's horrible to see people only supporting women who have allegations against people they don't like. Then calling others liars when it's politically inconvenient or against some celeb or other that they really like. Trump supporters are the same - they will go after Democrats but ignore allegations against their man. It's all extremely hypocritical and looks like the issue in hand isn't really that important to them, but only useful for getting one over on their political opponents.

Did anyone see PS trying to cook on this morning today? They were cooking along with a chef over video link. He made his sauce so thick it looked like wallpaper paste lol and then he pretended it tasted lovely. He’s such an arrogant head, can’t even admit to not being able to cook

Yeh Fern was elbowed out because she misled the public regarding her weight loss.
She promoted ryvita in a campaign.
People assumed she'd dieted and cycled to lose weight. She led us all to believe that was the case by not mentioning the gastric band, because (she said) it was personal.

So, she had issues with her image that drove her to having surgery.
She did make it known she suffered with her mental health.
She got no support.

Phillip also misleads everyone by not mentioning he is Gay and makes it known he's struggled with his sexuality.

He not only gets support but is trumpeted as Brave.

Spot the difference.

Why the different treatment?
I mean, both are guilty of deceit.

Isn’t the difference just that PS allegedly dating younger men for years not being in the papers? So the majority of the country is buying his version of when he came out in this morning? Where as fern having a gastric band and lying was all over the media so the majority of people who watch this morning didn’t want her on anymore?

We only Know all this juicy gossip about PS from here and Twitter I don’t think it’s common knowledge is it?
