Yes my personal view is that there is potentially more to this than we know. Maybe the allegations about PS go deeper - if they are true, maybe what he is doing is just part of a wider culture in the industry. It wouldn't be surprising given all that we know. And so they do not want any of us to go down that particular rabbit hole.
And remember he is only as wealthy as he is because he gets given all the gigs and the sponsorships in the first place. And if true that he had a damage limitation firm contracted when all this kicked off to the tune of £30K a week - who was paying this fee? PS or ITV?
I look back and compare his career trajectory to Andi Peters and wonder why Andi Peters didn't make it as big, when they started off on similar paths. AP seems like a really nice genuine, talented, down to earth man with a great personality - and yet he didn't go nearly as far. Why is this?
