Any bleed after menopause should be investigated, so I would go to your GP about this.

I’m classed as late menopause as at 56 my periods only started having gaps last year. My last period was in July this year. I still haven’t gone a whole year without a period to be classed as menopausal.

I feel peri started for me when I was 45/46 and I read then it can last 10 years
I’ve had loads of symptoms over the years but the hot flushes and in particular, the night sweats only started late last year/this year, so I’m hoping that’s a sign I’m finally getting there!
My GP asked how old my Mum was when she went through it as you can mirror your mother.
But everyone is different. Two of my friends had no symptoms, their periods just stopped.
Is it the hello Klean filter? I’ve been contemplating that as I’m constantly itchy on my head and body. That’s nothing new , I can’t attribute that to peri but I’d love to find a way to have softer skinI've been using a shower head filter the last couple of months and it's made an improvement to my skin, hair and scalp, all far less dry and itchy. Not sure how much of a difference it would make if the water was already soft, as mine is fairly hard.
I'd always had super soft skin until a few years ago
I went with the much cheaper JML one and it's really made a difference. I might invest in a more expensive one in a few months when the balls will need replacing anyway
I’m sorry to read about other people suffering but it’s kinda ‘nice’ to know we’re not alone with it isn’t it - our mums and grandmothers must have felt like they were going mad. Although despite knowing it’s probably peri I feel I’m losing the plot. Been on hrt for a year and it was amazing when I started but I def feel like I’m back where I was in some ways - my memory is horrendous, as is the brain fog and I don’t quite feel in control. A review is needed I think

My Mum had an absolutely horrendous menopause and it’s really stayed with me. She seemed to be boiling hot for about ten years. Our periods were completely different though so I’m hoping for the best.
Regarding weight gain. I gained a stone rapidly before I started HRT.
After I started I haven't put any weight on but couldn't lose any weight whatever I tried. Started Monjouro 2 weeks ago and lost 8lbs already. It's oddly also helped my mental health, feel much calmer in my head.

Is it really? I’ve NEVER seen it in my pharmacy; I’m going to check when I’m next in. In my defence:

I’m an interloper to England. I come from Scotland where prescriptions are universally free.
I’ve been prescribed other tablets that I’ve had to ask the pharmacist to check the price and charge me per the price which is cheaper than the prescription. I wish they’d check this for people who pay prescriptions.
3rd week on the combi patch, 1st with progesterone and I CAN NOT STOP EATING! Please tell me this settles 
the 3 month and 12 month PPC for other meds? or the £18.90 for hrt for 12 months that's in that article cos I've never heard of that in my life?
My pharmacy started actively telling everybody about it when it came in last year if you were picking up HRT. I’d already heard about it and got one as I’d read about it several times on various social media outlets and the main stream news had run stories on it but a colleague of mine didn’t have one so was grateful to have it mentioned and sorted it on the spot. It may be my pharmacy is very on the ball with this but it genuinely has been widely promoted in multiple places.
Yes, I knew about it through my colleagues initially ( lots of us in menopause at the same time which is good) but my pharmacy also advised me.
My work also has a menopause board with the info on. Saves you a fortune but really all users should be told this when prescribed HRT. Frustrating some people won't know and be paying full price
I’m knee deep into the perimenopause and wholeheartedly support it being talked about more but even I’m sick of it all now. Maybe it’s the accounts I follow but everyone seems to be sharing and trying to make a buck out of it.
Drives me insane, it’s like they’ve suddenly decided there’s £££ to be made and it p’s me off as they’re preying on women at a time when they’re feeling vulnerable. A friend told me yesterday that’s she’s ‘investing’ £1k into a programme with a menopause coach to stop her feeling so tired. Refuses to go to her GP (a qualified medical professional) and try HRT but happy to lay out ££ to some charlatan she found on the internet. She’s an intelligent woman but she’s being had here
I am finding women in their thirties claiming now to be in perimenopause because they can tick a few symptoms off which is worrying.

They do say you begin around 35yrs for peri but major symptoms for some maybe another 10years. I have a friend who started late 30’s but only realised properly in her early 40’s.
