I tend to hide the leaderboard and just concentrate on my own workout! I know what you mean though. I’m missing the gym at the moment. However I have a 1 year old and we’re planning a second so being able to work out at home for the next few years is better. When I have more flexibility I’ll be back to the gym instead I reckon!
I know you can do it, but it drags me in. Plus the groups are so competitive. I've made in something in my head 🤣 It's just a break and not forever. I've missed Les Mills classes though, especially pump.

I don't think I'd purchase the guide but I do like the update with all the class descriptions, previewing the movements and showing you what bits of the body you've been targeting most. Super helpful
I found it hasn’t been applied to some older classes though. Which is annoying because some have good playlists and I just wanna know how many stupid planks you’re gonna make me do :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

If anyone is after some structure to their strength workouts I recommend following #hardcore on the floor. They post new daily workouts and mine today was
- 10 min jlo core
- 10 minute resistance bands
- 20 min upper body strength

I did this after a 30 min Jess sims lower body bootcamp and am deceased.

Instagram page is hcotf2018 and they do arms/legs etc splits

Noticed they’ve added a load of Pilates classes too which I’m gonna try!
Ooh I'll have a nose!
I've started Selena's strength stack for this month but not sure how much I'm feeling it, going to do it this week and then see how I feel and whether I continue with it

My partner will share it with me, so makes it a bit cheaper. I tried the peleton in the shop but I wasn’t blown away, although that was only a quick demo so didn’t get the full effect! I’m used to Barry’s Bootcamp and Psycle when gyms are open, like that style of class but going to be working from home a few days a week even when normality resumed so can’t justify paying train fare and then classes on top. I think you’re right and I know which way I’ll go just wondered if the people who had ordered an apex ever got one and if they rated it.

You’ll love it…genuinely my best ever purchase (after laser eye surgery) I don’t think I’ll ever bother with a gym again!
I don't even have a real Peloton bike just the digital app and a decent spin bike, never ever going to a gym again! (unless I'm on holiday and I want to try out a tread class 👀)

I think select members were invited, to both studios. I've seen a few people on the FB groups post about being invited.
Yeah I’ve seen a few posts too but not many specifically for Leanne’s first ride. Also seen that Sam and Ben were there too. Just a bit odd IMO

I wanted to do the Becs and JJ run but I don't know any of Harry Styles' music so not sure if there's much point! I'm going to do Becs' welcome home run some time this week.
I've done a few Hannah Frankson rides recently and they've been great. You can tell she works hard during them too. No idea how the instructors do it tbh!
I also did my first Jess King ride last week, a 2000s pop one I think.
I don’t know Harry styles at all but I just took a chance. I love JJ as one of the newer instructors and recently discovered Becs, the class had a great vibe. The welcome back class was excellent, definitely recommend. I don’t normally run on a Saturday lunch time but missed Parkrun and did that instead, was a great alternative!
I do quite a lot of PZE classes with Matt and Denis, they both definitely work hard during those. In the 90 min Matt often has a mid cycle snack, which reminds me of the human/how much work he’s putting in. Definitely don’t know how they do it, especially the runners. You could def tell when Becs was training for the marathon time trials she was working in those interval classes!!

Me too, I miss all the drama, apparently it kicked off the other night in Bradley’s obsessive stalker group. Had hoped it was his wife telling them all to take a good look at themselves in the mirror but it was to do with people wanting to buy other people’s studio places 🙄
for profit I assume ?

Yeah same! I've had better results in 3 months with peloton than I did going the gym for years.
My personal faves are
Matty, selina, Olivia and Andy for strength - Andy ultimate fave because of his cheesy dad jokes and how he explains every move so in depth
Kendal, Olivia and Cody for spin - kendal is a love hate relationship but she says that on the bike "hate me now, love me later", and Cody because he's such a cutie, he makes me laugh and his classes fly by! And Olivia is just a tiny demon. I like jess King too but she's a tiny bit too mother earth for me and it makes me cringe a bit
The 5/10 minute focus flows are good, I really suffer with tight quads/hammys/glutes/hips and the flows are so painful, but in a good way and I've loosened up quite a bit after doing them
I never do Kendall, Olivia or Jen or Jess- I really should branch out more but I do 75% Sam rides as I like his calm style.

Exactly. I coach cheerleading two nights a week just now and don't have time to go to the gym on those nights so just being able to do a quick spin when I've got some time would be ideal.

My other half has been on at me to buy a road bike for MONTHS and then get another turbo trainer for using it in the house (since he's taken his with him) but I really think I'd rather have the Peloton. Mainly because every cheap bike I suggest he says no to as he's a bike snob :ROFLMAO:
My husband is into his road cycling and also has a turbo trainer - I got my peloton and he showed no interest at all in it until he tried one in a hotel gym whilst working away. Now he uses my peloton quite often!

I’ve been to a few classes in the studio, bike and tread and I love going but I’m there every couple of months as I live in London and £25 is totally worth it. However there is one guy I follow on insta who is there at least twice a week!
Who is that out of interest? I’m curious about these people and why so frequent unless they actually don’t own the equipment themselves

I love all the hiit and hills classes, they’re bloody hard though, I did a Cody one today 🥵 bootcamps are also a fave but I’m missing my girl Jess sims this week!

I haven’t tried listening to my own music tbh because there’s so much choice and I need the instructor to know what I’m doing lol

check out power zone training, really good for building your fitness and endurance

I'm really enjoying Lanebreak at the moment but I feel like the playlists are mostly guff? Some of them I'm really just like...who asked for this and why...hope they introduce more soon
