I do Peloton Digital classes on my non-Peloton spin bike and absolutely love it. They're doubling the price of the subscription though!!!!
Agreed! The app gives so much content, I always thought it was quite cheap. That’s probably the right thing to do. Wasn’t it £10 for all that content ? It’s an absolute bargain. We pay about £40 for it with the bike
It should almost be the other way round, I’ve forked out £1500+ for the gear, I should be getting the cheaper app price. Not someone who didn’t buy the gear. That’s probably the right thing to do. Wasn’t it £10 for all that content ? It’s an absolute bargain. We pay about £40 for it with the bike
I’ve always thought this, but I guess you’re paying for the integration with the bike, and get a better experience than just the phone app.It should almost be the other way round, I’ve forked out £1500+ for the gear, I should be getting the cheaper app price. Not someone who didn’t buy the gear.
If you’re wanting to use equipment (bike/tread) then you need an all access account which is £39 a month, it is however multi user so both you and husband can access classes for that amount, we have our 3 kids on it too.I use swift & really like that for my road bike but we’ve just got a second hand peloton bike. My husband said it had to subscribe & pay for an app it was over £50 a month I thought it seemed a lot. How does everyone access the classes & what do you pay?
It’s £39 a month, the all access membership includes memberships for up to 20 people in your household and full app usage for those peopleI use swift & really like that for my road bike but we’ve just got a second hand peloton bike. Then he’s paying twice because £39 all access gives you and up to 10 others access to the membership and the app as well! You don’t need to pay extra for that at allThank you, he said he had to pay extra for the app so I’ll relay this. I won’t be using it I’m a zwifty![]()
She’d gotten far too preachy for me personally over the last year or so, and her rides felt like they were more about promoting herselfKendall is leaving.
I went off her a while ago. I see Ross is also leaving, which makes me actually sad. She’d gotten far too preachy for me personally over the last year or so, and her rides felt like they were more about promoting herself
Charlotte is my new fave for pop punk and metal rides!
I’ve only done 4 of her rides of which two were warm-up ones, as I generally don’t get on with the style of most of the American instructors (I find them a bit OTT and cringe and prefer the British and German instructors). Probably ought to branch out a bit actually and work my way through through the instructor list again. Still hoping that Sam will get to one day do some meditations as I find the male voices more relaxing so need someone to continue the longer sleep meditations in his absence.Kendall is leaving.
Yeah they’ll keep them until they get to their natural purge date - unless there’s a legal issue like with Daniel!Do they usually keep the classes of instructors that have left on demand? I have a couple of Kendall’s classes that are my go to if I want a high calorie burn!
used to love her but over the last 12-18 months she became unbearable for me! she defo thought she was worth more money than what they pay i think.New to this thread but I am desperate to discuss Kendall leaving with someone!! I do think she’s a little preachy but her classes are tough and I love the pop punk and rock/metal ones. Her song choices since announcing she was leaving have been SO SNIDE! I need to know what’s happened, it really feels like she’s been sacked.
I actually preferred it because it can be completely other way. I barely do live classes and am not involved in any of the communities, but having it at home and not having to go anywhere works really well for me. Nearest gym is 15-20min away, spin classes don’t really exist either. I find hopping on the tread or bike (or both in a longer session) so easy to do because it is just there at home. But also I do accept I was never interested in having a PT, which obviously is a huge draw for the gym.I looked into it too, and honestly, it feels like a huge splurge for just the equipment and subscription. I mean, for the same price, I could get a solid gym membership with classes, personal training, and more. If you’re really into the live classes and community vibe, it might be worth it, but there are definitely cheaper ways to stay fit.
