Is it just me or are 90% of the members on the official peloton Facebook page absolute bellends. So sarcastic and rude 🙄
they are awful. I’m only still in it because I get a laugh out of them. It feels very high school! Also seems like it’s becoming a competition for who has the worst sob story (sorry!)

I use swift & really like that for my road bike but we’ve just got a second hand peloton bike. My husband said it had to subscribe & pay for an app it was over £50 a month I thought it seemed a lot. How does everyone access the classes & what do you pay?
If you’re wanting to use equipment (bike/tread) then you need an all access account which is £39 a month, it is however multi user so both you and husband can access classes for that amount, we have our 3 kids on it too.

Sometimes I've still got half pjs half workout pants on I wouldn't leave the house the state of me today I'm typing from the bike. Hoping to be woken up properly, but not before the baby 😝
It is nice if you’re able to have some equipment at home, I feel really lucky, it’s worth it for the convenience alone, my gym was an almost hour long round trip and I used to hate getting in the car in winter in the cold and the rain to drive there for a spin class, Im finding it easier just to slot exercise into my day when it suits me now and can put on any old pair of leggings and top, in fact I normally only wear my sports bra which I wouldn’t have had the courage to do in public!

I’ve not done any bike classes yet but from the strength and tread classes I’ve done Rebecca Kennedy is my fave! I’m still in the free trial but loving it! My fitness has increased massively and I even did my first proper outdoor run in years without stopping all thanks to the Peleton app!

Well it may not be for you, but many others it does seem to be a status symbol.

Is the peloton basic £12.99 membership new? I wondered what they were going to do now apple is entering their space.

A £9.99 a month membership for live classes I might do on top of gym membership as they've cut the classes and hours alot since reopening.

The new bike is even more, but designed to be used for more than just spin. But still bonkers as you'd be better off using a tablet or TV.
Well, that’s why I started my post with I...

4 years into having the tread and the bike and I’m the strongest I’ve ever been, defo been worth the investment for me and my husband. The tread is used every day as is the strength classes and the bike 3/4 times a week

Yes! The men tend to be the assholes and super self righteous, could not believe the fuss they made over having a pause button 🥴😭😂 like don’t use it if it bothers you ffs

So the studio live classes started back today. I wonder if the first classes are full of just press? Jo Elvin & Elizabeth Day and an online publication are there 🤔
I get they want the publicity but not a great impression for long standing members who have been with them through covid etc.

I like Jen, she’s tough but steady. My favourite is always Cody for the sheer fabulousness but I also really rate Ben, Jess King, Hannah C, Leanne and Denis.

Great post, although what I want to know most is have you ever had a shoutout? Peloton do rather cringey say this is one of the main features of their premium membership

Sorry I'm not trying to be sarky 😬 I get lots of people genuinely do like it and don't have as a status thing. I really do like the concept but I think the price point is too high, and the constant adverts are off-putting.
I wondered about this as in I tried once to scroll up through all the members during a live ride and gave up I couldn't get to the top of the list (the fastest etc)
So I think that's the lottery of a shout out and only if you're
On a live ride, thousands can be doing the same ride. Blows my mind.

Peloton users. Who are your fave instructors? I seem to circle round to Ben + Wilpers on the bike and Becs, Wilpers + Adrian for running/strength. Who am I missing out on?

Ngl I don't even know how much we pay with the bike because it's in my partner's name but £24 still sounds like an absolute bargain for the amount and quality of content on the Peloton app if it's the same as you get on the bike. If it's been £12 this whole time that's insane.

How has no one meant Sam yet? He’s my absolute favourite, not too much chat and sneakily gets you to pb. So genuine!
Everyone should try out his most recent 45minute class with the top gun finisher it’s epic!
That class nearly killed me in the last 5 minutes.

I did Greatest Showman with Robin yesterday. You always know your in for a bad time when you start at 90 cadence on warmup 🤣

I took Bradley's premier ride at the time and just couldn't deal with him. It was like he was trying to be Austin Powers or something.

I've just signed up to the app🙌 and I'm going to try out spinning at the gym. Hopefully I'll love it and will be able to manage to spin with my foot injury. I plan to buy a non-peloton bike for home 😊.

I like all the British ones, and Bradley most for his music. Of the Americans, I like Hannah C’s Vinyl Vaults, Cody is fun if you’re in the mood.

I find Alex too hard, haven’t warmed to Jenn, Christine always looks like she’s about to burst into tears. Haven’t tried enough of the rest to have a proper opinion.

Mayla’s Indie rock ride in English was great, I hope she’ll do more.

Bradley is definitely a bit annoying but he has some of my favourite playlists music wise! Along with Mayla and Kendall.
