trying my first tread bootcamp today... any suggestions for which one?
Maybe Cody to start off but Jess sims is my favourite! She will kick your butt 😂 I did an hour on Saturday and had to lie down for the rest of the afternoon lol

Ordered end of January and it’s finally coming the end of next week. I cannot wait
Apparently the live rides will increase again when Covid restrictions lift, they’ll also have people back in the studio which is good to hear as it’s definitely a selling point
So happy for you! The 2 months I waited for mine felt like forever

Anyone find the official FB group irritating. Good to ask questions but some people need some real friends. There is absolutely no need to tell us every class that you did
The UK group isn't as bad, but the main official one is awful. People can't ask a question without getting jumped on. There are a few people on there who seem to delight in being as snarky as possible.

I can see why app users (of which I am one) are annoyed. It's a big increase in cost, percentage wise, to continue using the app as we currently can. There will be some who are priced out by it.
But I also agree it was overdue, and still represents (for me, anyway) good value for money. I don't have the opportunity to go to a gym but there are plenty of opportunities for me to workout at home. So I will probably upgrade in December. But I do understand why other users are frustrated.

Is it just me or are 90% of the members on the official peloton Facebook page absolute bellends. So sarcastic and rude 🙄
Yes they're such tits! I joined the hardcore on the floor and peloton sweaxy strong groups on fb and they're a much nicer vibe.

Agree with the Bradley rides having good music, but then my husband accuses me of being too fond of landfill indie!

Definitely going to check out Mayla’s Indie Rock

Agreed, I loved both of them. Leanne’s pride ride from home from 2020 was so good too
Also a mention for 2021 Leanne’s pride ride which was just pure 80’s joy as she used all the music from the tv show it’s a sin which I loved!

Screen shots? (with names / profiles not showing)

Sounds like the comedy I need, but not signing up for a FB account.
It’s just people demanding for the names and numbers of the CEO of wherever has upset them and asking for recommendations for 1 to 1 skiing lessons in the alps of wherever the poshest people ski.

I don’t know Harry styles at all but I just took a chance. I love JJ as one of the newer instructors and recently discovered Becs, the class had a great vibe. The welcome back class was excellent, definitely recommend. I don’t normally run on a Saturday lunch time but missed Parkrun and did that instead, was a great alternative!
I do quite a lot of PZE classes with Matt and Denis, they both definitely work hard during those. In the 90 min Matt often has a mid cycle snack, which reminds me of the human/how much work he’s putting in. Definitely don’t know how they do it, especially the runners. You could def tell when Becs was training for the marathon time trials she was working in those interval classes!!
I will have to give it a go! I haven't done any of JJ's runs yet but I do like Becs. I did her 60 minute endurance run where she recapped the marathon trials and that was awesome, apart from the spending 60 minutes on a treadmill bit 😂

I did one of his rides live in the studio & he had a bit of an attitude, almost like he had zero interest in speaking to any of the members after the ride. His ride was boring too.

It feels like months of being inundated with ads for this. Finally looked it up and can't believe it's so much to buy the equipment and then subscribe to it every month.

I get that it being connected is motivational, but you're paying for a live class with thousands of people at the same time for the price of an average gym memebership that includes so much more. Am I missing something or is it another overpriced fad?

I get that they're probably targeting those with a large disposable income and wanting to make it exclusive, but still.
Well done for highlighting this. It all looks very good on the tv advert - but what a cost!! By the time the government assistance - furlough etc - is taken away and redundancies kick in, there will be a lot of people stopping their Peloton subscription. Also, those who have expensive vehicles on PCP will be trying to find a way out of it. They will be trying to make out they've been missold the contract.

I've got a streak going but on my rest days (two per week) I'll do a meditation, yoga or a stretch :)
The sea of blue dots is so pleasing to me haha

Ahhh I didn't realise that! I was thinking how can people be spinning every single day for so long. I haven't tried the stretching yet although I want to. Is the meditation a bit happy clappy? It doesn't really sound like my kinda thing but I may give it a go.
No its quite cute really! Only done a few and the ones I did were just like focus on your breathing

Barre is great! I’d also focus on the 10 minute glutes and legs, they’re non-stop for ten minutes and I feel like I’ve worked harder then in some of the longer classes. They pack as much as they can in that time

Fantastic I’m really pleased to here that I can’t wait to get it. Can’t see me going back to the gym now.
I have had mine a few months, in this heatwave it isnt fun as I dont have aircon but in otherwise it is a godsend. I especially like that I don't have to fanny about setting thr bike up in the gym, waiting for class to start etc. I just follow classes on YouTube.

I love reading this thread it motivates me to get on the bike -I love the bike but hearing other people talk about it it's great! I get the Leanne thing I wanted to like her rides because she has some amazing music-I enjoyed her Christmas one and spice girls one,but her vibe is more like the bikes the stage and she's not really doing the ride ,like say Tunde does, she gets in to the ride she sweats and breathes just as hard as I feel I am ,which is what I need,Leanne doesn't seem to break much sweat, she's a tiny person,I think she's show not fitness. I do bens climbs, all his climbs to be fair,I enjoyed Ben ,lately Sam yo i use he seems a calming influence a very genuine person-but every time I need my ass kicked it's tunde/Olivia/and recently Robin-and always love Alex too -I am really hoping they bring out a rower,I don't know if they will, that would be amazing.

Any recent rides people recommend? I'm hopping back on today after a three month break (eeek!) and want something to kick me back into gear!
Kendalls 30 minute hiit and Hills ride from last Tuesday, intense!

I'll be cancelling once the free 2 month trial ends. Maybe it's more compelling if you have their bike or treadmill?

But found there wasn't nearly enough content. I've gone through all the pre recorded workouts I'm interested in with the couple of trainers I like - there really isn't much after you add a filter or two. I need way more live classes (yoga or meditation in the morning or night would be good). I do like the American trainers and their faux mannerisms but once the gyms open doubt I'll have much interest in it and I'd subscribe to a service like this if there was more content.
I'm the opposite, I feel like I'm overwhelmed with the amount of workouts and want to do absolutely everything all at once! Like I'll find one, bookmark it then bookmark another 50 I want to try
I do have my favourite 10 trainers and don't really venture much into the others - I'm just on the digital app with my own spin bike.
Had noticeable strength gains - both visible and in the numbers. I completed andys total strength programme on Sunday and the amount of change is amazing
