In fairness I do love Bradley, his rides are always enjoyable (+ not too hard), but the way some of the people go on, you'd swear he directly propositioned them 😂 He's just an actor, acting on a bike.
Same, I like him, he’s a little bit easier that some and mostly, I like his music choices more than some others. I do find him a little bit cringe sometimes.
The fans are out of control. I just don’t get it.

Would love to know what the kick off on Hannah’s page. Like what can people get upset about? surely you’re just posting your ride on there, leaving a re commendation of a ride you particularly enjoyed…

Yes I love keeping my streak too and probably have 2 or 3 rest days a week.
I’m guilty of stacking classes (more like 5 rather than 10) and I like the ones on the PCUK page so 5 min warm up, 20 then 30 then 20 the 5 cool down. It gives me the chance to not go all out like I do if only doing a 30 and to try out instructors I don’t choose often.
altho I won’t be choosing Bradley again until he has calmed down....

The wedding content was HILARIOUS. I went right off her after than, haven’t done another of her classes again. The way she was prancing about and the husband is just standing there like 🥴🤣👌🏼.

I did Leannes ride last night. Don't normally do lives but did it to distract from having wine last night. I really enjoyed it tbh.

Should have bought those shares....they’ve risen 35% since they dropped after the recall...still not close to their peak though but a nice rise for some people (not me I don’t have a clue when it comes to the stock market, too risk averse!)
The thing about shares is it's all very easy in hindsight to say when to buy and that you'd sell at the peak, very difficult to put it into action.

They've now fallen way below the recall low of about 83. Can't say I'm suprised. Super bubbly tech based company. They were around 86 last week but have gone down 45% in the last few days.

I don't think buying any shares would be a good idea! They were falling from the peak early this year before this all. I'm not convinced they will continue to grow much - they haven't successfully managed to go outside of the spinning niche and so many competitors have eaten away at that potential market.
I'd only buy shares in something where there's going to be long term gain. Not worth the risk of trying to pick bottoms and tops and their long term future has been uncertain.

I really do like the idea of live classes with no pause because its so easy to be distracted at home. But I'm surprised there's so little going on there outside of the rides. With so many subscribers I expected it to be jam packed, not this:

There's no live classes apart from the bikes until 1pm uk time. It's really such small change to have more instructors and a decent live schedule. Apple is going to crush this unless they get better.

Great post, although what I want to know most is have you ever had a shoutout? Peloton do rather cringey say this is one of the main features of their premium membership

Sorry I'm not trying to be sarky 😬 I get lots of people genuinely do like it and don't have as a status thing. I really do like the concept but I think the price point is too high, and the constant adverts are off-putting.
You only get a shout out if you are doing a live ride and if its either your birthday or you've hit a big milestone such as 100 rides, 300 rides etc. I've only done on demand ones which are recordings of the live rides but it still tracks your metrics and puts you on a leader board against thousands of others who have also done the ride.

Some people seem to live for these shoutouts from what I've seen on FB groups but I'm not fussed although can see why people would get a thrill from it.

I also tend to do classes mainly from the 4 British instructors because they tend to be less cheesy and with better music IMO.

May be an unpopular opinion but I'm so sick of Ryan Reynolds' smug voiceovers in adverts!
Yep but it's help make him insanely wealthy. The gin brand he bought was sold on to Diageo for $610 million. That brand seems to have increased so much thanks to the ads like the one mocking peloton. I guess might as well overuse himself while it's still working / people are paying him the big bucks for it.

The whole treadmill thing is turning into a bit of a pr disaster. But I don't quite get it. Their brand is being tarnished but there's nothing really unique or novel about their treadmill so it applies to many others. Seems strange the message the Us regulators are saying to stop using if you have pets or children. Presumably it has a shut down key system like they all do so would be easy for a parent to lock it down.

Lbc have been playing their ad all morning with nick Ferrari saying "Peloton can kill!". Are global annoyed that the huge marketing budget didn't use their services?

Warning a child gets dragged under

It's a catch 22 situation, recalling all the equipment (I think it's the large us treadmill that's the model affected) and admitting a flaw would be so costly. But saying the equipment is fine and blaming parents who's children have been hurt (and in one case killed) seems callus.

I’ve got it bookmarked to do later but bit worried I won’t enjoy all the whooping etc

Really? I'm suprised about that, can you dish some more?
I find the stalker groups so weird, it's very odd the obsession people have with the PTs.
Don't get me started when people are positively strumming when a Peloton is on holiday. I don't want to see mine on a normal day 😫🤣. And on that note, I better go and get on it and get it over with.
Yeah. A close friend of mine works at PSL. He’s apparently quite rude behind the scenes. There’s no major tea per se, just that he’s a bit abrupt, talks when he wants to talk and generally ignores the production staff. I’ve done one of his classes in the studio and didn’t find him particularly warm - unlike Hannah, Ben and Leanne. The German instructors at PSL are fabulous too.
---
He’s had a stroke.

He’s probably my favourite and I find him easier that most others. I like a lot of his music, particularly anything indie rock. He can maybe try a bit hard, and sometimes you can tell he doesn’t know the words to songs he’s trying to sing along to. But I do like him.

I joined his FB fan page for a couple of days and they all seemed like right nutters, proper obsessed. I left pretty quick. There’s one woman on there and that he’s shared in stories, that posts exactly the same post ride selfie all the time, crazed expression hand on hip and waist band of leggings rolled down dubiously low. Like her whole IG grid is the same.

Curious what the drama in Hannah’s group was. I really enjoy my bike and the app, but some people are completely obsessed.
There’s one woman (from England) that booked a holiday to NYC when she saw Bradley was doing a ride at PSNY. It’s so cringe 😂

I bet Ally leaves with her TV presenting career kicking off. I never ever do her classes since she did such a bad Tina Turner class so won’t be sad when she goes. Smug.com

Sorry a million questions but I genuinely find this so fascinating but it feels a bit weird that the instructors would be able to receive gifts from members does it not? Fair enough small things but seems kind of unethical. Given there was an issue in the past with an instructor being inappropriate you'd think they would have very strict rules on how the instructors are allowed to interact with members

Does anyone have gossip?! So Ben and Leanne met with Ally love in London but not Jess king, maybe I'm overthinking it all. I'd be absolutely all over the place trying to meet visiting peloton people. Also Hannah met with Ally too separately. I absolutely adore Hannah she recently took her ginger Tom the vet he had lumps, they told her it was his nipples, she's hilarious ! Recently done her 60 min ride was fantastic x

I use the UK Ladies Peloton group for what not to buy/where not to stay

It’s ultimate litmus paper for what is naff/nouveau riche!

Their only redeeming feature is they aren’t constantly wetting their middle aged knickers over Bradley unlike Roses Rebels 🙄
I find Bradley so annoying but unfortunately I really like his playlists so end up doing a lot of his classes anyway 🤣
