this weeks ep… anyone know what the poo in a bag story is?!
Have you never heard the poo in a bag story?

There's loads of variations but the one I know is...

A girl was on a date and had to go to the bathroom for a number two. She had to get rid of it by using a plastic bag.

I can't remember where she then kept it but it was her thinking to take it away with her the next day.

Her companion left for work and left her sleeping. Before she left she got ready etc and as she was gathering her things she had left the poo on the bag on the side / kitchen sideboard or something.

She then left the house... inadvertently leaving the poo on the bag on the side.

There's other versions though. There's one about throwing the bag out the window and it landing in a tree. There's another about throwing it out of the window and it landing on a flatmate.

Omg the photo 😂😂
Poop in a bag story usually goes along the lines of:
On a date / with a new squeeze
Do a massive poop cannot flush
Fish out of the loo with a plastic bag
Some kind of attempt to dispose drama
My fave is someone trying to chuck it out window and it gets stuck between the sliding panes (old up and down type window)

Thought of another similar poop story
Someone put their poop in. A cat litter tray instead of a bag
But the cat died last week 😂😂😂

Ahhhh thanks everyone!

I hadn’t actually heard ‘the story’ but wasn’t it in the news that a girl had tried to chuck it out the window and it landed in between two panes and she got stuck trying to fish it out.

Maybe it is something that happens a lot to people 😂😂

Can someone tell me how the PCDs are coping with CrossFit John?

In my head, they're such a bunch of soft lads that they're not coping. But CrossFit John is just so endearing. They must be conflicted.

There’s at least one post a week saying something along the lines of ‘oh my god John shut up anonymous the gym it’s so boring, I’m not going to listen anymore’ and others saying he was funnier when he was drinking etc. absolutely vile stuff. One comment I saw was from someone wishing he would start drinking again to make the show funnier ffs.

Imagine wanting someone’s life to be worse/them to be ill for your pleasure 💀

I had never heard the poo-in-the-bag story either, so spent last week's podcast internally screaming "But WHAT IS the story?!!"

Okay, so I know this is going to sound stupid, and I totally can't ask this on the FB PCD group (!), but..... WHAT the heck is a retro-oner???????????????

I feel I must have missed out on the day at school where they taught us all the stuff that apparently everyone else knows :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

😂 no worries you're amongst friends here!

So, a one-er is someone who has listened to every show from the start (i.e. started listening from the XFM show in 2014) and then a retro oner is someone who has gone back and listened to the entire back catalogue from that first show until present.

I gained retro oner status around April 2020. It probably took about 9ish months 😅

Oh, brilliant - thank you! I'm not sure I will ever reach retro-oner status then, but congratulations on yours :D

Yeah, there are just too many episodes now... Almost 10 years of content! But if you're ever stuck for something to listen to, would recommend picking old episodes at random from XFM/Radio X days, as there are some good ones and they were a little more 'loose' on commercial digital indie radio.

Yeah, i've never really listened to any of the XFM episodes - I only discovered them when they had moved to the Beeb. But I keep meaning to give them a try.

Anyone listened to Elis' new history pod? I'm really enjoying it.

Much as I like Producer Vin and Travis (xfm producers) I much prefer the dynamic when Dave is the producer so maybe do the XFM ones until he leaves! 😂

One I definitely always recommend from xfm days is Tick Tock Robins. It's hilarious and has some excellent one liners from them all. Oh god every time I recommend it to someone it makes me laugh and I want to listen to it again.

John and talking about his Pret. Oh god. Please listen to it.

The XFM days... Ah, they sound really young and carefree if you listen back to them. I'm also a Prod Vin lifer.

Totally agree. The Prêt bit always ends me. Especially when Dave’s blood pressure spike is evident 🤣
