The box has a poster which is edged with the colour of your corresponding medal which I think is pretty cool.

Who knew that I was dead on the money with that logo of the Olympic torch/Marianne. I genuinely did not search this in advance so the design was perfectly executed.

Discovery+ is there no commentary at all on any of the events?

BBC is eventing on BBC1 & shooting on the extra. As they showed the Women Mountain Biking i'm assuming 1 of the channels will show the Men later live.

I've watched bits and pieces on discovery when I haven't been able to find it on BBC, and so far there hasn't been any commentary. IMO they really dropped the ball on that, it makes a huge difference especially in more niche sports

I’ve had commentary on almost everything I’ve watched so I’m surprised to hear that it’s missing for other people. Maybe I’m just getting lucky with what I’m watching.

Yes of course the Beeb would leave one of the most watchable events for some more filler.

People moan that social media etc is ruining society ( ) but on big events like that places like Tattle and Twitter just add to the fun - love it <3

I am so happy with the silver medal in the equestrian eventing. Especially for Stéphane Landois and his horse Chaman Dumontceau. This horse belonged to Thaïs Méheust, a young promising rider who unfortunatelly died in a cross country event in 2019. Her parents ask their friend Stephane if he could ride Chaman because taking part in the Olympics was her dream. And now they have won a medal. I am glad he could do it for her ❤

Mountain biking exciting so far. Tom Pidcock was in the lead with the french cyclist right on his wheel but he just got a puncture and his team weren't ready for him so he's dropped right back.
