Another day, another complaint about people approaching him.
It’s so boring.
Don’t want to be recognised? Go back to working in an office. Job done.
Also, Josh is a much better standup than Rob. So there.

I've never known a celebrity complain so much about being recognised/photos as much as Rob does! Romesh summed it up perfectly on his pod a few weeks ago, basically saying that his kids live a very privileged life because of his job, so if they have to wait 30 seconds while he takes a photo with someone then suck it up kind of thing!

I didn’t notice much this pod- must’ve zoned out when Rob was talking… I still don’t know how or why Josh got stuck in the school?!🤣 Rob’s like the annoying wingman of the bully, he’s not quite the bully, but keeps on at Josh to get in the bully good books. Focusing on what people eat when his own kids eat plain pasta…get a grip pal. And as for people recognising him- I’m sure if they didn’t, and all the perks (money!) started falling away, then he’d be gagging for a selfie with someone. You can’t shield behind your kids if someone wants to say hi, don’t be a fool and say hi back. Seems a lot of the people do say that he’s crap, or so and so’s better than him, so maybe that’s the reason why he doesn’t like it 🤣

He will ramp up the annoyances as a big “duck yewww” to us “trolls” I can hear him now. Maybe take it on board instead, it’s by far from a good look.

I've always erred on the side of being a Rob apologist, but he really is insufferable at the moment.

God they are both pretty unbearable. I’m so baffled by Josh’s insinuation that it’s harder to get to work in London than in a smaller town/suburb - I literally don’t have to drive anywhere, can get a train or tube wherever I want to?! I know you can get around easily in other places (eg Exeter) but the implication that London is harder is so annoying! Most people just don’t bloody drive?! Rob is unbearable, he’s desperate to live in London but declare he lives in the countryside. Doesn’t he live on the outskirts of Bromley? Which I’d consider neither of those!

Didn’t he say that he’s still classed as London? Can’t have it both ways according to these two- you’re either breathing in grey smog fumes, or out in the sticks so far that you need to complain about driving everywhere- I’m no London expert but surely there are nice places in between?🤣 Some of us don’t have the privilege of affording anything below York so the constant London vs Rest of the Expensive South is hardly relatable 😂😂😂

He was so judgemental over the crunchy nut cornflakes like he doesn’t ever eat crap food. He was unbelievably patronising 😡

He has become really aggressive towards Josh recently. First it was because he’d just finished some porridge then he wouldn’t let him finish the one story he wanted to talk about because Rob had dominated the entire episode last week talking about Japan. I haven’t even finished the episode as he was making me more and more angry. 😤
I love a bowl of crunchy nuts for my brekkie!!!

I'm so glad it isn't just me struggling with Rob atm. I think Lou is massively opinionated about everything especially behind closed doors and thinks her way is THE way and it has rubbed off onto Rob. You can hear Lou coming out in what he says more and more.

The bit where Rob was talking about going to a cinema in the a end of nowhere because he doesn’t want to be recognised made me chuckle - is he actually that recognisable? I get that he is to his fans but he’s hardly an A list celeb is he?!

I’m listening to Josh on Table Manners podcast and I think working with Rob has been good practice for this experience of being talked over 😂 So frustrating to hear a host ask a question and then talk all over the answer.

I'm very familiar with that cinema he went too. He made it sound like it was miles away from anything! It's a 5 min drive away from city centre

He pissed me off talking about the clientele of the Mamma Mia experience. Older women enjoying themselves and Josh joke asked if he got aroused (or similar) then Rob was all "ewww the exact opposite". I mean, it was a joke but he's hardly GQ Man of the Year now.

Is it just me that thinks him and Lou are taking their daughters to see things that they are too young to get or appreciate? Japan, Australia, The mamma Mia experience and other stuff in the past. It just seems a lot for such a young age. Like they are wishing them to be older. Saying how it was ok for them to get drunk at the mamma Mia thing because the kids were enjoying was a bit odd too. My son is in his 20’s and he struggles to remember any holidays we went on when he was that age but then we never did anything as extravagant as Australia/Japan so that’s probably why 😅

Yes! I went to the Mamma Mia party a few months ago (matinee too) and there weren't any children there. It's definitely not encouraged /aimed at children
