I think that's what I liked about it, it didn't really matter that they were talking about Football because they still had the usual banter and back and forth that they have on the regular pod.

Does anyone else find it so cringe when Rose or Lou do a “right to reply.” Josh said Lou’s voice note was 7 minutes long…how can she think that’s ok for the podcast? So embarrassing.
I never get the impression that Rose wants to do a reply!

Rose is too busy doing her own successful job to be hanging off Josh’s coattails. I’d be surprised if she’s ever seen his stand up

Yes exactly! I can’t imagine the kids would get along either, well Josh’s daughter and Rob’s youngest- similar age but sound completely different. I suppose that’s why they work well together though, must be something right since the podcast’s been going well for six years! Talking of Elis and kids- his sound absolutely delightful too! His son and Josh’s son sound like little poppets, obsessed with birds and trucks

I think Lou would seem VERY basic compared to Rose.
I’m a big Rose fan too . I like that she just lets Josh get on with the pod and doesn’t feel the need to stick her oar in … plus she has a successful career separate to Josh completely . I follow her interior design page and it is beautiful . Agree with the other poster who said they’d like a drink with her … a nice glass of pale rosé with Rose would go down a treat
Lou on the other hand … well … Mrs Default Parent found the time despite being rushed off her feet to not only listen to the podcast but to send a 7 minute voice note airing her concerns . I was so pleased when Josh suggested editing it down but poor Michael for having to do that !!
I also get the impression that Lou and Rob let the kids rule the roost a bit . Whereas Josh’s I think there is a bit more structure and boundaries and likely they’re better behaved … and less reliant on iPads!
