He was so judgemental over the crunchy nut cornflakes like he doesn’t ever eat crap food. He was unbelievably patronising

He has become really aggressive towards Josh recently. First it was because he’d just finished some porridge then he wouldn’t let him finish the one story he wanted to talk about because Rob had dominated the entire episode last week talking about Japan. I haven’t even finished the episode as he was making me more and more angry.

I love a bowl of crunchy nuts for my brekkie!!!

I was waiting for it. I reckon he knew that he was going and that’s why he did the vid. I knew at some point he’d be over there. I mean fair play, opportunities and all that. But that book…

Josh STILL sleeping on the floor…Josh doesn’t normally annoy me but come on WHY is he sleeping on the floor? Is Rose also sleeping on the floor?

Needlessly to say I turned it off.

They are decorating the kids rooms I believe and the kids are in the bed with rose. I would have taken the sofa, but with rose being an interior decorator it's probably an uncomfortable fancy sofa

I think they are both genuinely nice guys and that’s why the podcast is so popular. It’s okay to find either one annoying at times - we’re not all perfect all of the time, are we?

Absolutely this! I still love the podcast and saw both of their stand up shows this year (very funny-Josh marginally more so). I don't find either of them very relatable though but that's ok because I don't generally find famous people very relatable....
I am however another one getting a bit bored with the "I'm so tired" talk.

I've seen the film, it's brilliant and shows both sides of the story really well. It's a lot more than just a boxing movie and it captures that era perfectly

It’s one of those things where I know I’m going to like it, so I want to be in peace when I watch it so I can savour it. I though Naseem came across really cool and humble, in such contrast to his flying carpet days, I’m looking forward to the wider perspective. His family sounds lovely. He sounded like he really savoured and appreciated the money he made and what it meant for his family and the experiences they got to have travelling etc. Rob needs to pay attention!

Have any of you actually read or listened to the book? I did the audiobook and I liked it . I don’t think she came across as complaining about the life Rob’s job affords them. He wasnt so successful when they first had kids and I found lots of the early years stuff really resonated. And I say this as a full time working mum of 2 toddlers who is the default parent

I was looking forward to hearing about their Elf on the shelf experiences, especially as it’s close to Christmas (plus it’s very relatable as lots of parents stress about moving the damn thing - or any parents that don’t do it can sit back and enjoy the mayhem) and instead we heard about Rob’s foot (that he injured on one of his many holidays) and how he didn’t go to a rave. How festive!

Maybe im being ungrateful as it is a free podcast, I’m all for anecdotes and life stories but apart from him falling in the mud this ep was a bit…Meh.

I'm really lucky in my relationship because my husband was a single parent for 2 years and prior to that had an alcoholic wife who was usually unfit to parent their kids. So he had to do everything.

We work really well as a team and he does a lot, more than me at times but I'm still the one who is in charge of times/dates/appointments/school stuff. But then he does all the house maintenance side of things, always makes sure there's loo roll in the house (house of 7,its very important ). Left to me we'd regularly run out and have to resort to squares of kitchen roll!

I find it such an ick To be fair to Lou, I’m pretty sure she has some quite serious gut / IBS / Crohn’s issues that maybe it’s more about avoiding triggers for that than being picky?

Having said that, for someone who reckons they love food Rob only ever seems to talk about the blandest stuff so maybe they do all have very beige tastebuds in that household

I’ve not watched strictly properly for a few years, they’ll have to bring big gun contestants as surely I can’t watch just for the host .

I feel that if I knew Rob, the way I’d speak to him regarding the way he spoke to Josh would be exactly how he speaks to Josh, all taking the piss and laughing over him all the time
