I was commuting today and had run out of recent podcasts, so scrolled back and listened to one from 2021. In the first five minutes Josh said he was tired, they both said they work too much, Rob took the piss out of Josh and interrupted him and they’d both failed at remembering day to day things for their children. I absolutely love the pod, but has it really been so samey for 5 years?

His daughter and son's names are in the acknowledgements on their book. I think his daughter's name is very rarely used

I think the Strictly rehearsal day is Friday… I don’t watch Last Leg so not sure if they have an on/off season. Feels to me like it’s always on but might be repeats in the off season?

Although the timing of relocating to Devon and then taking on a massive job at Elstree would be very classic Josh

I haven't listened to it yet but I really like Jo Whiley from listening to her podcast with Zoe Ball. She seems sound and laid back. Maybe I'll change my mind after this!

No you won't, she came across well I'll begrudgingly admit. I'm just being a narky cow who hasn't liked her since the 90s

Aren't there enough football podcasts

When I heard it, I was thinking, who is their target audience here? If people want football chat, they are more likely to listen to former professionals than fans who have a decent amount of knowledge, but are hardly experts. But then I looked at the comments on Spotify and loads of people claim that they are looking forward to it, I don't get it. Where do they find the time??

God they are both pretty unbearable. I’m so baffled by Josh’s insinuation that it’s harder to get to work in London than in a smaller town/suburb - I literally don’t have to drive anywhere, can get a train or tube wherever I want to?! I know you can get around easily in other places (eg Exeter) but the implication that London is harder is so annoying! Most people just don’t bloody drive?! Rob is unbearable, he’s desperate to live in London but declare he lives in the countryside. Doesn’t he live on the outskirts of Bromley? Which I’d consider neither of those!

I was waiting for it. I reckon he knew that he was going and that’s why he did the vid. I knew at some point he’d be over there. I mean fair play, opportunities and all that. But that book…

I haven’t listened as regularly as I used to, had a listen yesterday Rob still interrupting, telling Josh how to parent his 8 year old. Yes Josh did appear to stick up for himself but I didn’t listen all the way though so didn’t hear him apologise.

I found today’s quite depressing. There was a lot of “our kids future is so bleak” “kids today have it really hard”. A bit heavy for a comedy podcast lads…

I suppose they cant control what the guest comes on and says!

He did say she told him about it ! So she probably lurks here , I expect she likes the reality tv threads . No shame in loving a bit of gossip Lou !

I braced myself and listened …it did make me smile that Josh was telling Rob he needed more adults and the penguin rules!
I was surprised that Rob thought it would be ok to take a year 6 child to Oz for a year because it was year 6 then straight back into high school

yep! They’re the voices in the Butlers minisode. Alex Brooker is the chef butler!
