Yeah it's not on all the time. Normally it seems to be scheduled for a few months late Jan to end of March, then oct till mid-Dec. Based on the wiki page of episodes.

Maybe struggling for content so he gets two long shifts over the weekend when he has school age kids… the most Josh life ever!

Not sure if there’s any fellow Wolf & Owl listeners here…but Romesh shared his views on getting asked for pictures/spoken to on the end of the most recent episode and he’s really quite spot on I think. And arguably he’s better known than Rob!

Love the Wolf and Owl pod it’s my favourite, I loop back and start again on the early ones when I want a funny easy listen

I guess you could give him the benefit of doubt and say he doesn’t know how Instagram works (even though it’s a big part of his job) so didn’t know how him replying to the comments would highlight them.
It’s just weird how he hasn’t done it with anything before though. Not just for Josh. Lou’s book reveal perhaps…

To be fair I think it only highlights it for the people who follow Rob, as IG shows you comments of people you follow above other people’s. So most people following Rob would be aware of the pod and get the joke. These comments may not be top of the list for a lot.

I think having Rob and Rom both in there at the same time is a bit of a weird flex - I can’t see them agreeing to throw each other under the bus?

congrats on the guys who predicted Rob was in there!

Yeah agree completely, what is the best shes hoping for really?! She needs to get back to work if its pissing her off that much then she'll realise that stuff still falls on her and she'll get to fit in a real life job on top of it all too grow up Louise
Rob does do loads as well from what we know, i cant lie the long arse trips away from work would grate after a while but she rarely if ever has to deal with the stomach churning dread when a child is ill again and instead of your first thought being for your sick baby its along the lines of ffs I have to be off work again and then feeling guilty because thats your first thought. She isnt living in the real world. I just find naturally that women's brains are more adept for the admin and mental load that goes with it and I say that as a feminist, its not about that its just biology ultimately and I think we forget that men as nurturing parents is still quite new in terms of evolution etc

Exactly that-we’re constantly told to fight against biology. Just crack on being ‘default’ and enjoy it while you aren’t at work. Maybe don’t write a book if you’re exhausted. Maybe don’t plan all the holidays and see what happens. If anything happened to them as a couple, she’d be insufferable🥱

Oasis really fucked me off because I've been to see them twice years ago and couldn't get tickets, there was 5 of us trying to get them and none of us did, then loads of people I know who have genuinely never mentioned them before went! Still not over it

I wonder if there is some deeper or psychological reasoning behind it all - as he definitely didn’t do it at the start of the pod - or whether it’s simply just a joke that he is taking too far, as we know he can do that

Yeah I thought it was fine but I literally listen to it while cleaning/pottering so not listening too intently. I was pleased that Josh called the guest out for his moan about his wife and the bin bag gripe, proper tosser

I’ve skipped loads recently. Such a shame but the first episodes are the weaker of the two formats, and like you say, unless the guest interests me I don’t tend to listen.

Does anyone listen to Josh’s Archive of Pop Culture? If so, do you know why it changed from Museum to Archive? If it’s been mentioned I must have missed it

ETA - I just googled and can see there is an actual Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle so I guess that’s why!

Yeah, I heard him talk about it on Claudia Winkleman’s chat show, not sure if he’s addressed it anywhere else? Love that podcast.

Rob made a comment about Alex's legs and running when Josh mentioned the Last Leg in a recent episode , I've noticed he always mentions Alex's disability if he's mentioned

All our speculation about how Josh must hate being constantly interrupted by Rob…. Clearly not otherwise they wouldn’t be introducing a new podcast together!
i don’t like football, but do enjoy listening to them both, so will likely listen when I run out of episodes of my usual podcasts.

I just listened to last Friday's podcast and was happy to hear Josh ploughing on talking when Rob was continuously interrupting him as usual. I think Josh was reading out an email but he didnt stop and respond like he usually does- he needs to do more of that! Also loving how irate Rob was getting about the stolen toast

Doesn't Josh own the company that produces the podcast, I think it produces a few for other comedians. Josh is obviously doing fine for income and owns two massive houses!
