I agree on the presenting - I see him a bit like Joel Dommett who has basically been saying recently that he knows comedy wasn’t really his thing and he’s fortunate that he found enough success to get presenting gigs and can read an autocue.

I don’t want to knock Rob too much because he’s made it pretty clear how much his anxiety rears up with touring… but I wouldn’t book to see him live. Having said that, I wouldn’t book to see live comedy full stop!
I’m surprised about this (about Joel). I’ve seen him live, not too long after he was in the jungle, and he was bloody hilarious. I had sore stomach muscles from laughing.

I laughed a lot at Rob’s special, think it was on Amazon Prime a couple of years back. Can’t remember watching any of Josh’s apart from maybe Live at the Apollo; anywhere I can see Josh doing stand up?

He had a special on C4 for quite a while but I think it’s gone now. I’ve booked to see them both next year, and I’ve enjoyed their previous stand ups. They’re obviously different but they both have strengths in my opinion.

His most recent stand up is on Sky!

Quite enjoying Friday’s episode with Kerry Godliman, but bloody hell, she’s so shouty! I have to keep turning it down. I won’t be able to hear them at all soon.

I listen to Kerry's Memory Lane podcast she does with Jen Brister - well worth a listen if you've easy access you the volume button.

Kerry is very bolshy and shouty but I don't find her offensive with it. Jen is the exact opposite, incredibly calm and serene 😂

I've just listened to the Joe Lycett episode. I've never been a fan, but he came across really well, and I really enjoyed it. It was nice to listen to one where they actually asked some parenting questions.

Switched off from Kerry G episode. I like her generally but I found her and Rob too much!

Yes, they do have a similar energy, don’t they? 😂

Thanks to the person who told me that Josh’s stand up was on Sky - watched it, and really liked it. He’s such a nice bloke 😊

I enjoyed the episode but couldn’t stand how many times Kerry called Rob wise. That man doesn’t need anyone else convincing him he’s a guru!

Yesterday’s episode was hilarious. Josh with his inhaler and the double reindeer experience made me laugh out loud!

Agreed, loved yesterdays one - felt like an "original" episode if that makes sense haha. Him contemplating asking folk on the plane if they'd an inhaler made me LOL

Even though it’s all first world problems, Josh struggling and telling us about it is my favourite thing! 🤣🤣

That villa is epic. I can’t imagine it’s remotely affordable for most of us.

I found it. For a week in October half term (over Halloween) it’s about $10k, so $5k per family. I guess not as unaffordable as it might be for the whole Disney thing. Spendy but not totally crazy in the context of a Florida holiday.

“Still so much space 😂

Also something really irks me about the way Rob and Lou bang on about their children being really fussy eaters as if all children are.
Imagine if all Josh’s children ate was plain pasta … oh my god, Rob would NEVER let it lie. Whereas Josh never brings it up, or provides ‘helpful’ tips that work for him and Rose.

I was just about to ask - what’s the deal with just eating plain pasta?

I don’t have kids, so have no experience of how hard it can be getting to eat stuff and I also know that kids go through phases etc and are never exactly gagging for broccoli but…what’s the deal??

My kids have never eaten plain pasta cos, well, I’ve never even offered it to them 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m not the kind of parent to force my kids to eat and they’re not fussy but we have been through stages. They’ll never starve and they’ll never rely on Jaffa cakes for tea either so 😂

I enjoyed today’s episode but I’m glad I don’t have a trip to Lapland booked because I’d be devastated! Again Rob is grating on me more and more.
