I arrived here after seeing this image and searching for a Russell Kane thread. What the F?! Is Lindsay giving up her other ventures to start an OF?
Russell is the guy who transformed from dorky looking to full emo, this was years ago now and I'm sure at the time he blamed it on a breakup, pretty sure he was absent for a while but might not have been long.
Just googled to find those early pictures and now I'm confused by his age, I thought he was same age as Josh and Katherine Ryan that generation of comedians but he's almost 50!

I don't think he has ever revealed his age but he also was trying to promote something a couple of years ago about how he stays looking for so young, was probably some scheme or vitamins or something.
He seems to treat his daughter as like a problem to be solved all the time rather than an actual person.

He definitely kept his age a secret for years. They've recently started a very expensive supplement business so now he's all into "biohacking", he's shouting his age from the rooftops.
But I thought he also has EDS which surely helps with his youthful look.
Russell Kane is so obnoxious. He clearly thinks he’s sooo much more intelligent than all the other parents, with his stupid impressions of them. He’s read one book and then is spouting about it like he wrote the book and like it will solve all parenting problems.
Believe it or not children are actual people. It’s not like you can do a load of research and solve the riddle and then tell all the silly minions, who aren’t as clever as you, what the answer is.

I did think it was interesting how, on both episodes he's appeared on, he's never really said anything good about parenting/his daughter?
I appreciate the whole thing with the podcast, and something Josh and Rob play on, is funnier if everyone moans but it didn't seem like it was a problem for him!

Oh my god, I’ve just heard the bit where he says he took 5 months off work because he wanted to be equally involved and was researching breast pumps for hours. How does his wife put up with him?

I suppose I expect her to sound more like she’s from Made in Chelsea or more similar to a Pandora Sykes types whereas she’s just generic London/estuary with lots of dropped Ts and flat vowels.Really enjoyed the rose episode, she sounds loads of fun! Sweet dynamic between her and Josh, and Rob absolutely loved it you could tell!

Going back to Russell Kane I thought it was really not cool that he mentioned the Oedipus thing and his daughter wanting to exclude the mum. That's really too personal to be talking about in a public arena.
I wonder if Rob and Josh will find it harder to talk about their kids going forward?
My 8 year old doesn't like his own brother seeing a baby picture or video he would never be ok with me talking about him on a podcast.

I noticed Rose dropped their daughter's name in the episode. I was surprised it was quite normal, I expected something achingly middle class.
