Felt sorry for Josh in today's episode, he gets such a battering from Rob at times. Some people are just not into tictok and memes and that's ok!

No it was just them chatting, such a bonus as I don't listen to the interviews.
Phew. No me neither. That’s why I haven’t listens to todays yet. I don’t bother listening on Friday as I prefer them 2 just chatting.

I think Rob's joke about Rose is a little tedious now.
I like them both and ultimately always listen to the pod, despite having no kids and being far away from doing so, but I do think Rob is a little bit of an attention seeker. Which I guess makes sense as a performer, but the DM comment reading and his multiple Insta stories about 'abandoning' his family was an example of it for me

Yeah, the fixating on the comments long after Josh was ready to move the convo on… really not doing a great job of making anyone believe you’re not bothered.
Do we think they have quietly done away with guest episodes, or just taking a break while scheduling becomes tricky for parents in particular over the summer? I suppose in a lot of cases when the guest does it for promo, they aren’t necessarily going to be able to release that ep at the right time to maximise the return on whatever they’re shilling.

Rose posting they are all in Devon in the amazing house she’s renovated it’s gorgeous and wondered if Rob is jealous/envious? not that he’d admit it 
There was a point where Josh said “shall I tell you about my euros weekend” and Rob flat out ignored him and spoke over him. I really think Rob is hilarious but he definitely tries to dominate sometimes which is grating.
When they have guests, Rob often jumps in and basically paraphrases what the guest has already said. Sometimes he’ll add a (crap) psycho-analysis or try to explain how the guest feels for them. I think he wants to appear intelligent but it comes across rude. Josh is the better listener.
I still love the podcast, it’s my favourite but just some observations.

I enjoyed the pod today, it was just a bit manic and I can see how Rob could get a bit hung up on nasty comments, once you start reading you can't stop. He's impulsive and it was just a few minutes of off the cuff ranting. Not their best work but still funny imo.
I too have found Rob a little annoying over the last few weeks, he is just constantly interrupting and talking over Josh who can barely get through a sentence at the moment! The reading of the daily mail comments was particularly annoying (the first few were funny but then he just kept on and on!) and I remember eye rolling at his constant stories about abandoning his family to go to the euros. The thing with Rob is that instead of just letting things go he doubles down on his point and just completely over does it. If he was totally secure in his decision to go to the euros in the middle of his family holiday then none of the abandonment stuff would have bothered him but it clearly touched a nerve.
Josh and rose always seem to be ill! Also maybe Josh needs to hire someone to plan his diary because he always seems to have these last minute diary clashes. He’s clearly gone too hard at these new material gigs because he said himself he’s already got an hour of material and he wasn’t meant to be going on tour until next autumn!

Rob definitely needed to let it go, he posted about it on Instagram and some people might think him leaving a holiday to go to Berlin was a bad decision. Like people have said if he confident in that decision he wouldn't have to keep justifying it.
Yeah to be fair, Rob was on one on this week's episode. I always think he's like that mate who is a great laugh for most of the time but can be an absolute liability at times! I think there was some truth in Josh saying he didn't like Robs true self, especially when he started slagging off his doctorate 
I bloody love Rob, but found yesterdays episode a struggle with him. Even at the start he was slagging off Josh for how his set up was & he was in a superior sound room - does it really bloody matter, Josh was like "i'm happy to do the introduction" but Rob just kept going on and on and on, found myself rolling my eyes. I'm an avid football fan too but found his whole Euro story a bit tedious too. He's starting to take over, let the lovely Josh get a word in man!
