Watched about half of Smart TV … it’s not great. My husband said ‘this won’t be commissioned for a second series’ … it’s not bad but it’s awkward and the writing isn’t clever enough, even with AH laughing maniacally at everything. maybe they should have had Rob and Josh as the team captains and someone like Jimmy Carr as the host.

Watching Smart TV and it’s basically the tv version of never mind the buzzcocks. The lack of women on panel shows continues to irk me 
I'm the same. It feels attention seeking for attention seeking sake.
He's sold out his tour, he's got a new show with Josh and Alison, a successful show with Romesh, a regular BBC2 radio show, a popular podcast and he's invited onto plenty pods and shows about his passions too.
He doesn't need to do this. He's successful and totally well known.
Which is where my ick side kind of comes in, I don't get it. It feels like something a newcomer would do...
Buttttt the part of me that loves him thinks it's funny so I'm definitely torn. I'm trying to tell myself he's lost a bet.
The guy I'm dating atm can't stand Rob (he actually uttered the words "I'd never tire of slapping him" to me - I know, I don't know why I'm cracking on with him either) so I'm just WAITING for him to message me about it
this may be the one time I actually can't defend him
