It's wild to me how many Twitch streamers (or people within that field in general) seem to have an only fans

The lot of you are followed by literal children, what are you doing????????

I know that there's the argument that it's content you need to pay for, but leaks don't seem to be that hard to find anyway

I've seen pics of her. Are many of her pics doctored? Her body shape is vastly different to Kate's. Granted, siblings aren't necessarily physically similar, but I would never have guessed they were siblings tbh haha.
They’re only half sisters

I think this is a fairly smart of OF. Get out on a high whilst the going was good. It was only ever going to make them money short term and they’ve got out before the real trouble starts.

There’s other sites like Just For Fans which will no doubt take their place when OF dies its inevitable death. This reminds me of the great porn ban on tumblr in 2019… they lost a good chunk of their userbase trying to keep tumblr family friendly and keep driving other potential users away through their (poor) adult material detector which flags even the most innocuous of posts as explicit.
The porn ban is still in place on tumblr? I always get followed by those porn spam accounts with dodgy links. They don’t seem to get deleted even after I report them.

Surely this just means the end of the platform? Almost all of their content is adult material
I do think it's too late to rebrand now. I don't think their platform is anything too special as there's lots of other similar things. Anyone non porn would be on one without a porn reputation.

They maybe had problems with extream and illegal content threatening the providers that allow the income stream. Still I think they'd of been better off keeping going until it implodes, I think they take a 20 or 25% cut. Or maybe it was a few days from imploding?

Chelsea Ferguson has already done a story saying that Admire Me will be happy to take on anyone from Only Fans. And that Admire Me have always been 'better'

Reading more about it and it seems like the site got too big and too many "content creators" on the platform are scammy. So it attracts lots of reports of frauds from unhappy customers and it was getting too much for the payment providers.

Lots of big accounts were doing very well. But I don't think they will be easily able to get payers on a new site. I've seen some onlyfans stuff that makes it onto tattle threads (linked to twitter or elsewhere as we don't want that stuff uploaded here) and it's surprising people would pay for that 😐

It is actually mad the money that many men will spend to see explicit photos and videos of women they find attractive. I am a bit ashamed to admit it, but a few years back I did spend a fair amount of money on the cam site 'chaturbate' and it can be a bit of an addiction. You spend a few tokens here and there, but after a month you've spent a few hundred quid. I did that for a few months.

Not ideal. Women on chaturbate definitely have it harder because the competition is very strong. If the person doesn't like one cam girl, they can just go to another and spend tokens on her instead. With OF it's a bit more expensive I think. Wasn't it a Brit who set up OnlyFans?

Yup, the guy is from Essex and it seems that the company is based in London
There was a lot of concern for underage content on the site too and I imagine that's probably having a bit of an influence on this too

I do think it is too late to rebrand fully though. I think there will be a few people who continue to use the site for hobbies and what not - bit of an alternative to Patreon. There will also of course be loopholes that people can use to keep selling content that is sexual in nature. Honestly, most of the stuff I have seen from leaks is pretty tame as it is so fairly easy to tone down

I think at the end of the day people are paying for the specific person rather than the content they may produce (unless they're into very specific stuff I guess?)

Twitch thots have been doing this for years, it usually goes as follows..

1. Become twitch titty streamer.
2. Build up a fanbase of simp paypigs.
3. Get a warning off twitch for sexualising your content.
4. Announce you will start up an onlyfans because twitch won’t let you act like a tart.
5. Plug it for a few weeks.
6. Start the onlyfans.
7. Only post lewds at first, charging £100 to see nipple.
8. 1 year later they are taking baseball bat sized dildos up the ass for £15 a month.

Generally they are pretty lazy people who don’t want to work, are really bad at streaming/video games etc therefore can’t earn good money as a youtuber/twitch streamer.. so just resort to virtually selling their body for money.

I don’t know who’s worse, the girls drinking cum cocktails for a dono, or the simps who pay for and enable it.

I keep reading online articles quoting OnlyFans 'creators' who are bemoaning the ban because it'll take away their income.

While I understand it must be disappointing, some of them are acting like they can't get income from any other means. I'm not gonna say "get a real job", but "get an alternative job" is a valid riposte I think.

Yeah you might have to put in a bit more effort, but it's worth it to keep a roof over your head.

You know very little. It's pretty private even when people pay extra to see what you're packing.
I am not sure, but I think you can, there was a case in the UK last year ( ithink) where someone's ex teacher had messaged them saying they "knew they were something special" or something - but whether that is only if you message I do not know

Forgive my ignorance here, I’m not claiming to know anything about OFs, but I read that the problem they have is that whilst they have millions of paying fans, they don’t have investors willing to accept explicit adult content. Why then don’t some of these biggest earners become investors too, or better still invest in a new platform that allows them to post whatever they want. Say I made a million from it like Megan Barton Hansen supposedly did in a few months, wouldn’t you want to reinvest in your future with some of that money?

I'm always suprised at the amount of people who chose an insecure gig then proceed to put all their eggs in one basket then bemoan when something affects it.

Just like the youtube "adpocalypse" people are complaining and equating it to a permie job and saying it's the same as an employer cutting your pay overnight. If you want a regular guaranted income you need to get a job with a contract.

It's all this wanting their cake and eating it too I can't get onboard with. I say this as a freelancer myself.

I wonder if only fans type stuff has had its peak? Apparently most of the money is made by a few famous / infamous people at the top and the rest don't make much. Maybe with so much competition now those at the top now won't be able to get those to transfer to a new platform?

Well said. If we're honest, they like it because most of them are earning more than they'd get via a job with a contract. But that also means they could have saved most of their income and hence have enough money to fund them while they look for alternative work.

I see lots of influencers who seem to earn a lot, but also spend a lot. I'd be saving everything I could. But I suppose they feel they have to have all the flashy material possessions to fit in.
