I think the women making huge amounts are people with a platform already so the people paying are paying for someone they" know" rather than just a random naked person, tbh if I would be worried about the fact that a lot of these people are fostering parasocial relationships and will end up being victims of stalking

Yes I definitely agree. I think a lot of only fans girls are stopping doing it now. I know a few girls that did lit they have stopped now because they want proper careers. They want to get married and have children.

I don't know much about OnlyFans but I didn't really mind their concept. Now, I just read this interview with a woman who was there since the beginning of OnlyFans and I thought it is really scary and that it might serve as a warning, especially for young women. Would also like to discuss it with you - it contains a lot of interesting aspects, maybe some that can be discussed controversally.

Quote from the interview (translated into English):

"All the things I'm saying now, I wish I'd heard before I started OnlyFans. It's a kind of apology to myself. And a message to others who might be slipping into this industry. I think there are too few women who speak honestly about the conditions in the industry."

Got like 45 mins in the doc and got bored. Presenter was very meh. If your OF is failing I don't see how they'd fall for jumping in with a load of Bros to manage them as the answer. They tried to make it dramatic but nothing was a big revelation.

I know that there's the argument that it's content you need to pay for, but leaks don't seem to be that hard to find anyway

Yup, the guy is from Essex and it seems that the company is based in London
There was a lot of concern for underage content on the site too and I imagine that's probably having a bit of an influence on this too

I do think it is too late to rebrand fully though. I think there will be a few people who continue to use the site for hobbies and what not - bit of an alternative to Patreon. There will also of course be loopholes that people can use to keep selling content that is sexual in nature. Honestly, most of the stuff I have seen from leaks is pretty tame as it is so fairly easy to tone down

I think at the end of the day people are paying for the specific person rather than the content they may produce (unless they're into very specific stuff I guess?)
