The past year whenever I have seen videos of Liam I found it so bizarre because he was nothing like I remembered him. Whenever I see videos and pictures of the other boys although they’re older they still have the same mannerisms and personality etc and it was obvious this was because he was high/intoxicated.
I think since Liam was hospitalised last year he’s been on a greater downhill spiral and I just can’t believe how it has ended, it is beyond tragic. To think everyone regarded him as the sensible one who didn’t drink and this is how his life has ended? He had so so much to live for and I just wish he could’ve overcome his demons
I have seen the full pictures of him and in my opinion I had a much worse image in my head… the pictures are very sad but it was almost a relief to see them and not wonder what had become of him. He looked peaceful but also looked nothing like the Liam we all remember.
I feel sick to know that the whole world is able to see photos of him at his most vulnerable point and we watched it all play out unable to help. The video of his dad on the balcony with Paul is absolutely heartbreaking and I really hope that his funeral is invite only, small, private and unpublicised and that he is cremated and his parents have his ashes at home. He deserves some peace away from the public eye finally.

Also to add I saw an interview clip from a couple years ago where he was asked what he wanted to be remembered for, and ultimately he said he wanted to be remembered for being kind. And that is how I will remember him, even in the months and days leading up to his death when he was clearly struggling so much he was nothing but friendly to fans and he was adored by his friends and family.
Any issues people had with Liam were as a result of his addiction/mental health and I truly believe he would never have caused any harm or upset to people sober/well. The photos from the hotel room of the drugs and the claims of him having 2 escorts with him that day I don’t read as seedy or as a disgusting man as I usually would. I see it as self destructive behaviour and that he didn’t want to be alone. There have been so many stories of what he said and did in the lead up to his death and I don’t know what to believe. Sorry for the longgg posts I just have so many thoughts in my head and no one to speak to about them that would understand from a 1D fan perspective
