Much like Cheryl said in her post, something that gets lost when someone extremely famous passes away is the fact that they are a person too. Fans and everyone get caught up in what they and the rest of the world has lost (and I’m certainly not negating what they feel because of the huge impact 1D had on their fans) but should also remember that there is a family out there that have lost a father, a son, a brother, a nephew. The statement from his sister is heartbreaking.

Honestly I don’t know what it takes to make a genuine success of life in this business (I mean genuine contentment and emotional and spiritual success, not just economic) especially if you enter it early in life. Incredible stability in your background, a rock-solid family with deep values who know what really matters and somehow manage to prioritise your well-being while ensuring that you don’t get too full of yourself? Seems nigh-on impossible.

Leigh-Anne from Little Mix did the exact same thing, with the same sound. She knew what she was doing, and the comments show, all for attention to get clicks on her own page.

This had nothing to do with Liam so to infer that is quite cruel. All of the Little Mix girls will be devastated by this as they grew up together, Liam & Jade were friends in 2008 when they first auditioned at just 14. Perrie cancelled her Live Lounge and Jade has kept her a promo to a minimum.
Tbh working in the music industry could be about anything, not my screenshot but she did say was just a generalisation.
No I understand that, however given the fact that just days before it was posted, Maya had been going around exposing Liam at this time, and given Leigh Anne’s position within the industry and as her band mate was engaged to Liam’s bandmate, as well as the ongoing vitality of Liam’s “cringiness” all over TikTok, it just seems like extremely odd timing for her to post that. I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that, as a big majority of the comments insinuate that this was about Maya/1D with comments in my screenshot, as well as from 2 days ago saying “omg the timing of this”. Perhaps it wasn’t about Liam and I’m not saying it absolutely was, but I do think imo she was some way jumping on the bandwagon, knowing people would insinuate, but then just saying “oh it’s just general speaking.
To play devils advocate, don’t forget how big the boys, their girlfriends, family etc were to the fandom, she may have felt she needed to give a statement due to others doing the same. She (Danielle) lived with Jade for years and was only pictured with him a couple of years ago and tik toks aside, she doesn’t speak obviously of him online. Regardless of what happened in their relationship, she was with him from pretty much the start of 1D and is allowed to be upset/grieving like others.
I think this is also important to remember, just because we don’t think it’s necessary for her to speak out doesn’t mean she hasn’t been harassed to say something like the rest of them, and especially if she was called out for joining the pile on.
It’s sad to think that they’ll probably chart in the singles chart again this week
