What happened with his brother and nephew?
He hasn't seen his nephew in years and cut off all contact. His brother has had what can only be described as multiple mental breakdowns on social media about his relationship with Niall. He became depressed/suicidal and would talk about how he was rejected by Niall, pushed to one side, forgotten about, and then fans would send him hate, telling him to kill himself. Other times he's said he's happy for Niall but it's clear that their relationship is beyond help. He's talked about Niall's ego, how he only cares about money and so on
I thought nialls mum took the nephew to one of his shows recently? Could’ve been another nephew but TikTok was making a big deal about it so I assumed it was Greg’s kid
Niall is very private. I’m sure that he has somewhat of a relationship with Theo, but I’m sure it’s hard when he doesn’t have a relationship with Greg. From what I’ve seen, Greg is very jealous of Niall, his recent rants on instagram live threatening to expose him and complaining about his mum throwing him out because she’s in an abusive/controlling relationship and that Niall gave her a house but told her that her partner wasn’t allowed in it but she has him over anyway. That her partner wouldn’t allow Greg to stay when he was homeless because Greg is aggressive. I think it’s clear who the problem is and it’s not Niall.
Yes, I think it’s always been clear that Greg is very jealous of Niall, his social media rants used to be quite something. It would be quite hard to maintain a relationship with Theo whilst he’s still a child if he doesn’t see Greg
Greg is the problem not Niall, and obviously Niall couldn’t see Theo because Theo lives full time with his mother now, and Niall isn’t close with her, but Theo was at nialls dublin show so they are still in contact. Greg is always going on live giving out about Niall etc it’s clear he’s unwell and needs help though. Also did anyone see apparently Liam is going to nialls show in Argentina (I don’t think Niall knows this himself as I don’t think he’d want to be associated with Liam), video is attached, I mean it’s clear Niall doesn’t have any contact with Liam so I don’t know why Liams acting like he does.
I think it goes both ways. Does anyone remember the twitcam rants Greg used to do? I think there was definitely a breaking point where it shifted and it became a bit unhinged. Before that it did seem like Niall was the issue
God, he really should stay off social media. Fame has not treated him well.

They all seem to come from somewhat problematic families, except Harry … and maybe Liam (but didn’t his dad push him to do loads of shows in working men’s clubs as a teen .. he definitely peaked too soon).

How does Liam Payne sit with himself he is the singular most embarrassing pathetic loser I’ve ever come across. He’s the type of person who can empty an entire room.
Liam was never very stable or that nice a person. He went into the X Factor a second time clearly expecting and entitled to be the frontman in the band (whether Simon actually promised him that like Liam claims is sort of a moot point because he can’t control what the public response is to the band) and he had to reposition himself in the hierarchy once it was apparent Harry was the most popular. He took on the mantle of being the responsible one but spiralled when he wasn’t getting the validation he wanted and made that everyone else’s problem. It’s an unpopular opinion here and in some of the 1d men’s fandoms but in my opinion it’s fairly obvious they gave Louis and Liam the narrative of writing some of 1d’s music to give them something to differentiate them and to try and mature the band’s image. I had a lot of sympathy for Liam for a while because it’s not enjoyable watching someone abuse substances and go off the deep end, but he’s an unlikable homophobic and sexist hole who abuses women. There’s no coming back from that.
Louis is and was a very good songwriter though, it wasn’t a “narrative” for him at least. I get what you’re saying though.
The way he did this with Louis aswell when he was performing in South America as well, he’s so obsessed it’s actually funny, imagine chasing around your ex bandmates because you’ve nothing better to be doing

I recall reading Liam saying something about wanting to go to one of Harry’s shows early on but H didn’t want him there. I felt sorry for Liam, but I’m not surprised now if the others try to distance themselves. Harry and Louis, at least, come across as genuinely likeable (football cav persona aside). Niall seems ok but I think he thinks he’s better than he is. The other two just seem like wicks.
