I think the boys didn’t agree with his actions, especially when maya started speaking on TikTok about the abuse, and that’s why they unfollowed him. That being said, they were together nearly everyday for 5 years. I’m sure there was a lot of drama behind the scenes, but they were all basically brothers, I do believe that they still loved Liam, despite his actions. I think they’ll all post something eventually, I’m sure they’re all deeply upset by it all. I don’t think any of them are so heartless to not care that someone they once loved as a brother has died

I did read that sadly only Niall still followed Liam online which could indicate theres been serious drama.

Maybe Liam should take a leaf out of Louis’ book and redefine what success looks like. Or follow Niall’s lead and be comfortable and realistic with what his solo music career would look like.

I also don’t know how much core fans Liam actually has at this point.

He shouldn’t have a career after this, sorry not sorry. Wielding an axe at your girlfriend and abusing her mentally is not acceptable no matter how empathetic you can be to his struggles.

In my experience (nurse) of treating people who have fallen from a height, any kind of deliberate fall (e.g. jumped and missed the landing) involves jumping feet first.

For someone to fall head first, it's 99% unintentional/misjudgement. Take that up to 99.9% if they fall backwards.

The fact that there are no reports in any media that people attempted to give first aid makes me think that it was the latter, and he was in a condition where the injuries were clearly unsurvivable.

If the TMZ balcony picture reflects where he fell from, it's not actually that high, and I think most people who jumped there feet first would have serious injuries but not ones that were immediately fatal.

The circumstances will be expanded on later, but even with this level of info I am strongly inclined to believe he didn't jump and it was an accidental fall.

I agree… and if the hotel reports were truth about his state, he probably just had no sense of the consequences and it wasn’t intentional. In any scenario, no one owes any answers to the public. One thing is to talk about this, another one is harass the family, gf and friends for info or statements… some fans have no boundaries

Off topic but remember when he was crowdfunding so he could buy Doncaster rovers. He was offering meet and greets, videos and more, and still didn't reach the £2m target. People (mainly parents) were complaining at the time saying he had the money to put in himself if he really cared. They were saying Louis had just earned around 15 million but was asking fans to donate over £10,000 for a 10 minute chat with him. IIRC he was getting backlash for charging so much for meet and greets when the band prices were much cheaper

I think Louis has always believed in his own hype. He was Mr Big Balls when the band got together, he obviously had/ has a strong family unit and had a strong relationship with his mum that made him mentally strong. He’s never had a reason not to be cocky but I don’t really think hes that talented and it definitely won’t last forever, especially if he’s self funding.

In the early footage, Harry seemed very young and Louis kind of took him under his wing, a few years in, you can see that Harry is completely different and seemingly much more confident and maybe a bit frustrated by Louis immaturity. Then Zayn leaves, Harry makes his big move, end of 1D.

I don’t think Simon was involved as people actually think. SyCo was not just him and plus they had management etc it wasn’t all Simon’s rules. He probably didn’t have much of a say outside of picking singles and songs. I know Sonny Takhar managed a lot of the stuff with Simon being on Tv a lot.

Yeah I think Louis is comfortable enough with the level of fame/success he has as a solo artist, whereas Liam feels he's owed more. Liam won't be happy until he has 1d level of success again or is at least better than Solo Harry.

The book revealing he is bitter about Harry's solo success says it all. Liam expected his career to be on that level

I find it so cringe when anyone (famous or not) acts like they are too good for their own past. Louis needs to realise he would be nowhere without 1D, he would never have made it in music otherwise

Louis would never have made it without the band. He couldn't sing then and he can't sing now

Yes, that is very true. On the other hand, I think I would try to help if I cared about the person. But again, some people are beyond help despite everyone’s attempts

I’m sure she probably did try to help many times over the course of their relationship but she’s one person and not qualified in mental health care. She was never going to be able to ‘fix’ or help years and years of mental suffering that was clearly very extreme.

Sorry to be morbid but Louis will be the first to go then Liam. Louis' lifestyle is so messy and I can only imagine how much worse it will get once success as a solo artist dies down.

I think Liam struggles the most with how famous he was in the band compared to how famous and successful he expected himself to become as a solo artist. There's only so many failed attempts he can take. That with his history of substance abuse is worrying

I don't think Niall will get any bigger worldwide but he'll always be big in Ireland. Zayn is taking the first steps in doing promo but he needs to take his career more seriously. If this album flops there's a chance his label will drop him or stop ploughing money into backing him.

I get what everyone is saying about the picture chosen by Harry in terms of it showing Liam performing in his own surrounded by fans but honestly? For me, with the rumours about him diving off the balcony to get into the pool, it just felt a bit off. Idk maybe I’m just feeling a bit over sensitive? The tributes have all been lovely but I agree Harry’s was more polished and professional.
