Where I work is quite boring but there was an affair a while ago. An older manager was seeing a younger woman, both married. They would go into toilets on work's time and get it on. Both got sacked for stealing company time. It made the papers twice, first time was anonymous leak and the second time it was because he went missing after he was sacked. My partner's work is much more interesting. Quite a lot of drug taking, visiting prostitutes, all having affairs, usually this is the men. However, there is one girl who works there, in her 20s, is married and has cheated on her husband several times, once (as in full on affair, not one night stand) with an obese man in his 60s. Her dad also works there and he found out! There is an ex marine working there who wants to fight everyone when he's had a drink, comes into work telling everyone he was fighting at the weekend, quite often with family members. There was another fella who drove a truck and he had a girlfriend in our area and another in the North East, he was living a double life. I don't know where they get the energy

In a previous job of mine the HR manager was married to the receptionist. He was also shagging the sales manager. Everyone in the office seemed to know about it apart from his Wife, or if she did know, she was good at hiding it.

An ex-colleague of mine who was doing really well in the company, received drunk texts from one of the (married)head managers (the favourite of the owner of the company) late on a Friday evening, saying "I really like you, I have always felt like we had a connection" She replied just by laughing it off, saying hope you enjoy your drinks and evening lol (so awkward). She then woke up the next morning to another text from him saying "I love you" 😂😂😂😂
A month later his wife joined the company..... and slowly but surely my ex-colleague was frozen out of the company in spite of her doing very well in her job. When she confided in me about it, we always wondered if lies were told to get her out. I stayed just another ten months because I thought it was quite toxic after that. Men will always side with other men in companies no matter how bad their behaviour is, it infuriates me

I don’t work in an office but I work with a lot of middle age men who are great for gossip.

lots and lots of affairs at work. When I started I was told not to sit on staff room sofas because they’ve been used for romps.

One bloke had worked for the company 10+ years. He decided to go back to his home Country on his annual leave but when he was due to return he didn’t show up. He got in contact and said he had broken both his legs while on holiday and couldn’t travel home. This went on for weeks. Turns out he had been in this country on a somebody else’s passport and got busted on his return.
We worked for years with a bloke and we had no idea who he really was. We all have really extensive checks so no idea how he managed it.

Biggest scandal was my main boss was caught on cctv shagging a manager in the office
both parties are (still) married and it’s amusing watching them avoid each other at work

only other juicy goss was a male co-worker coming out as trans (I’d known for ages but was asked to stay quiet so I did)
he came out when he was spotted at a bus stop wearing a dress

god my work is so boring apart from the odd teen pregnancy and someone’s broken up with someone else

This story is from the ‘90s and the company I was working for had made a few people redundant; they were called into and office to be told and then given a cheque with their payout. The payroll lady went on leave for week and while she was away an accountant discovered that she’d provided the redundancy cheques and then processed the payouts again but the payouts had been paid into her husband’s bank account. She came back to work after being away and the police were waiting for her.

It turned out her husband had no idea that his bank account had been used. This was back in the day of bank statements being mailed out instead of online.

That same workplace, the CFO was going through his third divorce and he was a scary mofo. Everyone in finance including me, had cleared a space in their office or under their desk because we all expected him to just turn up one morning with a gun and shoot up the place like in the movies. I left to have a baby and never went back.

At the place where I used to work it was mostly boring, but once there was a scandal when the oldest of the team who was 56 was caught giving a blowjob to a young 22 year old guy in the cupboard. He was obviously enjoying it loads too because they got caught and he was making orgasm faces and holding her head down, was mortifying

A friend's daughter has just started working for a very trendy multimedia agency (or ad agency, I guess - but they do everything else in between). The MD is 28 and all the staff are in their 20s. It sounds like they do everything together - even on the weekends, they're at the MD's house for BBQs or out on the water on his boat - it just sounds like one big, non-stop party ... which would be fun at that age if you were single and into socialising and living, breathing, work and your workmates ... I don't think I'd like it though. I imagine the gossip is gold standard.

I work in a female dominated NHS team (not one man) so the gossip is poor... Just your standard bitching and lunch theft.

My best mate is in the met police though and the stories she tells.... It's shocking! I'm in the wrong job 😂

Omg I have loads - need to remember all the best ones. First one which springs to mind was there was a woman on my team who was seeing one of the married directors who had kids. He broke up with his wife for her and then she met someone else - they both remained on the team for a really long time and everyone knew about it but no one said anything! 😬

I was part of grad scheme in a big City firm so there were loads of untoward things going on haha. One of my fave stories is some new grads at * big unnamed Canary Wharf bank * who went out on a night out and ended up coming back to the office afterwards. Their offices had a gym and a pool and they were awoken the next morning by one of the directors who was up for an early morning swim and found them asleep on one of the pool loungers 😅

My first retail job, the GM was caught on camera shagging one of the supervisors in our loading bay. He got sacked, and his wife kicked him out, and I went to sixth form with his stepson at the time. He knew I knew, poor lad wouldn't look me in the eye after that.

Around ten years ago a friend of mine worked at a place that required staff to wear photo ID badges.
One day the old bill marched in and arrested the director of finance. Someone in IT was looking at his PC re a problem and came acoss a set of pics where he had cropped the heads off some of the female staff ID photos and added them to pics of naked bodies.

A few years after if happened she bumped into an old colleague who said he had since got a job working at hotel in dubai.

I noticed this everytime the company I worked for would re-open after the Christmas break. All those drunk men & women, snogging and/or shagging during the party festivities, looked decidedly sheepish on the first day back into the office and had to do the "walk of shame" back to their desks.

Some of them were probably embarrassed at who they got involved with at the party (the beer goggles effect, lol)
And some were keenly aware that if they weren't shagging someone, they were gobbing off with some very choice words/indiscreet stories about some of their colleagues. Which obviously was digested and stored away by the office gossips for later.

Obviously, I was not included in such sordid/debauched/salacious activities :giggle:
My xmas do's were never like this! On the other, I used to do overseas tours with various musical groups and they made roman orgies look like an afternoon tea with the vicar, so I suppose it all balances out.

My husband was once working for a company that had a contract on the QE2 - at one point this involved a check as to where everyone was one night and not one person was in their own rooms...
I once temped for a local authority and that was a hot bed! Threesomes in cupboards, so much shenanigans between people that I’d have thought lucky if they could get a onesome!
I was once working in a little office - and we shared a floor with another husband and wife run company - I was working a little late and heard the husband pleasuring himself once his wife had left for the day - as I had to go past his office to leave I had to make noise to let him know I was there - he knew I knew - eueww!

Worked for the NHS as admin in a hospital - while I was there a doctor and nurse got caught by a member of the public in the toilets having it off. Like something out of a Carry On film! Not sure what happened to them!

I used to work with someone who was a ‘furry’ (google it if you’re not familiar). We found him on a fetish website with lots of very explicit photos of himself and his furry partner

This thread is marvelous. I feel boring that I have nothing to contribute

I did come across a rather stuck-up PA for a departmental manager bean-flicking herself in one of the cubicles of the ladies loos one evening when I was working a night-shift.
That definitely starts like the script for the start of a certain type of movie !

"You sound like you need a hand . . . "

The Deputy Head of my former Uni was found by a secretary guard shagging the (you couldn't make this up) Christian Association Administrator. Both were married.

The Security Guard was moved to another location (he was a contractor), and the Deputy and the Administrator had both gone by the end the of year.
