At least Selfridges is being careful, and starting with 1 store only (and online) so if it possibly flops, they don’t have to clear all their stores from Battenberg cake dresses and other clown outfits. I find this hilarious tbh, we shall see how long this will last. But they managed it and that’s enough lol end story.
Now watch them share every congrats from any arselicking follower, thinking they bleeping made it and are on top of the world. I’m just waiting till Karma takes care of this as well lol they have been so ignorant on purpose with everything that’s been going on lately, just wait

It’s not that exciting 2bh, it’s not like selfridges are buying their stock, they are simply providing a space for them to sell and will take commission of anything sold so the return will be next to nothing. And also it won’t get the usual footfall due to the pandemic
I mean credit where credit is due I do think it is an achievement because I never thought they’d get that clothing range in the likes of selfridges purely because the clothes aren’t great. i hope the party wear & winter stuff are nicer than the summer stuff, especially if being stocked in there. I do wonder like what the cost of having it stocked there is & who did the pitch seeing as though they’re just down as “models” on the company houses. Be interesting to see how much they stock in store & how it does sell...
Definitely agree it’s the wrong time to be having your range in a store though. I know it says it’s been stocked online but how many times have you girls browsed the selfridges website when looking for an outfit for the weekend?
Even less likely now no one can bloody go anywhere & Christmas/New Years is basically cancelled as in hardly anyone will be buying party stuff to go out. Come at a bad time for them IMO
EDIT: I actually felt happy for Ellie when watching her story saying thank you. I think you can really tell she is the driving force. I thought Daisey’s posts on her stories after are very telling of her whole role in it.

good luck to them, when supplying to department stores, everything is on their terms and it’s very difficult, you bend over backwards to please the store and they will take the piss especially for smaller brands that aren’t as high in demand.
for example they might ask for 2000 units of a certain product then last minute after it’s been paid for and produced, they’ll decide they don’t want it and you’re left with the bill and the unwanted products.
They offer pennies for products. You make pennies per unit but it’s worth it if they’re buying a lot of units and your stuff sells
you basically risk money, time and everything to please them and it’s very risky especially for small businesses
