Yeah mine took 12 hours
I've seen people say they are signed up for the mailing list (for a long time) and.not get the loyal fan email so seems randomly given to people that are signed up?.I'm subscribed to the email lists for both Oasis and Liam, the presale ballot email from Oasis said I was a loyal fan and would automatically be selected, the one from Liam didn't! So I guess I've been identified as more loyal to Oasis than Liam, even though I only saw Oasis live once and I've seen Liam solo four times![]()
It does seem random! Perhaps they used some data on how often people open the emails or click on the links in them?I've seen people say they are signed up for the mailing list (for a long time) and.not get the loyal fan email so seems randomly given to people that are signed up?.![]()
Just found this thread and had to quote you here as this is how I felt. I saw them at their second to last gig in Bridlington, got my tickets on the day for £20 and it was one of the best nights of my life. I'm slightly worried my "Oasis memories" will be tarnished but I promised my other half that if they ever reformed I'd go with him so if we can get tickets, I will go. I signed up to presale at around 9pm last night and got my confirmation at 10.30 this morning. This tour will either be absolutely legendary or it will turn into a tit show. What will be, will beLots of bands have shared the date of the announcement, personally blossoms would be the worst support ever. I’ve seen support acts bottled at oasis gigs, i’m an original knebworther, first see oasis in 1994 and see them 26 times
I personally don’t want them to reform as selfish it as it sounds I want oasis to stay apart of my past and not to be shared with the knobheads who go watch Liam g now who are my kids age. Oasis was before mobile phones and social media and that made it special you were in the moment not with a camera phone. I’ll go and watch and take my kids as they have grown up with their music, I just hope it’s for the right reasons and not just to pay for Noel’s divorce and Liam’s third wedding
I feel this so much. Oasis defined a generation and I see them as a precious link back to that special time, OUR time. This should be for US. Oasis are ours, they are our era! Hands off, Gen Z!!! I wish they would let us have our own thing, and they can just stick to Dua Lipa or whoever the hell they are intoI was at knebworth and spent six hours hanging up and redialling on a landline to get a ticket and for the be here now tour I begged the operator after seven hours to put me through (which he did) they were the days, no internet you either queued outside the venue to get tickets or used a landline.!
the presale is boo hockey you have more chance on Saturday, last few gigs I’ve been to I’ve had more luck last minute on twikets (Bruce Springsteen and foos) ended up with mega seats as well.!
a work colleague said last night I hope they play wonderwall, massive eye roll from me and she’ll probably get tickets
I’ve been with them the whole time and solo careers, I like oasis when it wasn’t cool to like them, after be here now the real fans stayed everyone else dropped them. You know they’ll be some pissed up Karen shouting ‘play wonderwall’ in the crowd wearing a primark bucket hat and parka having listened to one direction and Taylor swift her whole life
gatekeeping most certainly amthey should’ve done a ticket sale for over 40’s first or if you’d been at knebworth or Maine road
I still haven't even had a confirmation email that i'm on it yet my friend and mum who I told to do it at the same time haveMy Pre-sale thing said I'd find out at 9am on Friday if I was in the ballot. I'm not holding out much hope though as the whole thing gets bigger. Doesn't take ticketmaster much to have a meltdown.
This was how I felt when I saw The Stone Roses at Hampden. We were sitting and I much prefer standing but I felt a bit sad as it just wasn’t as good as Glasgow Green back in the day!Just found this thread and had to quote you here as this is how I felt. I’m not standing this time if I’m lucky enough to get tickets, I just want to enjoy the whole thing, have an easy access to the loo and for a drink.!I think standing is definitely a better atmosphere but I think with Oasis it won't matter. I saw the stone roses at the Etihad where it was standing with the choice of sitting on the lower level if you wanted. We sat on the lower level instead of standing and the atmosphere was still good
Same for me I think but I'll probably just click on whatever I can and buy whatever I can if I'm lucky enoughI’m not standing this time if I’m lucky enough to get tickets, I just want to enjoy the whole thing, have an easy access to the loo and for a drink.!![]()
