The amount of comments I’ve seen saying they couldn’t give a shit about Oasis but “if Blur reunited I’d definitely go see them”. You mean at one of their dates last year when they did a tour? Did you go? Did you hear their new album? Clearly don’t give a shit about Blur either then 🤣
Side note, they were incredible at Wembley last year.

Also how “Oasis must be running out of money” errr sure Jan. Of course they are 🙄

So I've just turned 40 & grew up with the blur/ oasis hype, I was more a blur as had a crush on Damon albarn 🤣🤣 but some of my close friends were massively into oasis. Now I have a 13 year old daughter who for the last 2 years has religiously every day listened to oasis. I don't know where the obsession come from as we weren't massive listeners but I do like their music. She has been sent an email saying she's a loyal fan and will get a pre sale code.im praying I get us tickets as she is literally sick with excitement. I will attach photos of her bedroom wall she also has a liam gallagher pillow which scares the shit out of me everytime I walk in her room!

I logged on at 8am and got kicked out just before 9 - got into the queue eventually and got tickets for Manchester at 230. It took 3 goes to actually pay. I’m pissed off that I had to pay £355 quid a ticket but it’s done and we are going on July 20th. I’m in my 50s and live in burnage so not too far to go! Will probably end up walking back into town to get home like we had to after stone roses. Haven’t seen them since Maine rd and knebworth in the 90s so I’m very excited. Good luck to those hoping for new dates and resale.

Wasted best part of the day on this. Got kicked out after a couple of hours then got 2 standing in basket for £216, more than I wanted to pay, but just buffering then price jumped to £357. Not paying that. Noel and Liam could have capped this if they gave a shit about the fans. Paul Heaton capped tickets at £30 a few years ago as he wanted all fans to afford it. Couldn’t have prevented the resale shysters but I would have had a bit more respect for them if they had stopped Ticketmaster profiteering. I am done.

I really hope the 20 somethings don’t snake all the tickets and leave enough for those who lived, breathed & grew up with oasis. 😅

Starting this thread because 1. There must be other fans here,

and 2, just randomly listening to them and laughing out loud that one of their top 12 best songs is called Fuckin’ In The Bushes.

They really did that though. The best walk-on song I’ve ever heard live.

Anyone else eternally mad fer it? This is not about Liam vs Noel! Just to appreciate the music ✌🏻

and before Bushes, to me, this was the ultimate opening song!

Also, when did you first get into Oasis? Do you have a favourite song or album? Any fun or funny memories?

I had heard a couple of singles and liked them, but I literally remember where I was when I heard Live Forever, it honestly blew my mind, it was the best thing my young teen-self had heard. From that moment there was no looking back, mad fer it forever.

I’ve been lucky enough to see them a few times over the years, they never missed. Nothing can beat an Oasis gig and crowd. Like you’re walking back from the venue to the nearest station and a whole crowd of voices is singing “SOOOO Sally can waaaait” omg I love it.

Haha, when Richard Ashcroft started Bittersweet Symphony this weekend he told the crowd, “get your Shazams out!!”

I think the main reason it's not sold out already is because of the price increases.
Tbh I would be fuming if I got to the front and it was £355 for a bloody standing ticket!
Nice to see Liam and Noel have remembered their working class roots. This whole thing feels like a massive cash grab.

We got two standing for the Friday night at Wembley in the pre sale and yesterday my dad managed to get through from 190,000 in the queue, and he got 4 standing for Wembley on the Friday too.
I’ve grown up listening to oasis thanks to my dad and brother so this is going to be amazing to be there all together, me, partner, brother, sister, dad and uncle.

Always been a dream and it’s coming true.
im so excited I actually cried.

Sorry to anyone who missed out on tickets, I hope you get for FV over the next while though!

ticketmaster pricing was mental, as excited as I am, leaves a wee bit of a sour taste I won’t lie.
My standing tickets in pre sale were half the price to what my dad paid.

I'm a huge Oasis fan (and also an old fart) but I think anyone should have a fair and equal chance regardless of age.

A friend of mine's daughter wrote her university thesis on Bob Dylan and I'd dare say is his biggest fan. She was also 22 when she went to his Hyde Park concert and I'd say she deserved a ticket as much as anyone there. I just don't think age defines passion.
