I don’t think they did… we were 6500 in the pre sale queue and could only get tier 5 at the opposite end to the stage.

It just seemed random I got in I've had it refreshing a while I refreshed it a few times as well as extras. Thought I'd missed my chance as I got though to payment and my payment failed. They only hold the tickets for 6mins so be quick! Luckily I had enough time to set up the payment then even more luckily as I was able to get onto the website I could try again and it worked

I've seen people say they are signed up for the mailing list (for a long time) and.not get the loyal fan email so seems randomly given to people that are signed up?.

It does seem random! Perhaps they used some data on how often people open the emails or click on the links in them?

1. Noel only turned up at the Late Late after 11am (it is or was at least back then a live chat show) as his mammy wanted him to be on the Late Late

2.God be with the days when members of the Late Late Show audience could stick their hand up and ask a question to an A-Lister. Viewers were allowed phone in as well. RIP Gay Byrne.

A local hospice have two tickets in a raffle and last time I checked they had over 6k. £10 a ticket which is fab.

This always puzzles me. If some up and coming (but currently struggling) act offered free admission to an influenza in return for content on Instagram, I'd respect the support on offer.

However the above doesn’t apply to Oasis/Coldplay/Swift.

So basically, WHY?

Oh and whilst I'm ranting the pronunciation of Gallagher has been a longtime bugbear of mine.

Second G is silent so it's more like Gallaher.

Not Gallager. One of them even admitted they knew this but also admiited playing along with the British pronunciation.

I got tickets and I am buzzing about seeing them as a band again, but I also saw Liam in June and that did me just fine, I had the best time and the atmosphere was great.
I do love blur and I’ve seen them a few times, I think maybe oasis’ music has just aged abit better?

See I'm the opposite, I was Team Oasis in the 90s but if I had to choose now I'd opt for Blur!

Apparently there is to versions of the ballot email? one that says local fans and confirms they'll get a presale code and the other that just says they are entered into the ballot. No one knows why some people have the loyal fans one

Wish I could go again to any possible dates but Im out (all my holiday for work is booked with other stuff plus I have Blue and Metallica this year, plus family holiday in the summer so..) If they come back to tour again in a few years im there though! Im happy I was there 5th July with thousands of others buzzing!

I’ll be logging in tomorrow morning - Dublin dates the sale starts at 8am. Does anyone know is there any advantage to being on the site before then, is there a waiting room or something? Or is it just live at 8am?

I wondered that as well. Not to confuse the issue but I’ve signed up to the ballot, do you get a confirmation email that you’ve signed up, or just got to wait to see if you’re in the ballot? Anyone know ?

You get a confirmation that you’re in the ballot. Then if successful you get a further email.

I think they will be tight on how many codes they give to stop the chaos of general sale , so it'll probably be like presale easier to do

My mates Stepson got a code and got tickets yesterday for £150 so will be going to Heaton park. It really did look a complete shambles today though. Ticketmaster seems barely fit for service. I don't know anyone else who got tickets so they all must be going somewhere.
