This is such a great interview, a real moment in time, Summer 94.

Highlights include Noel’s Alan McGee impression, and around 8 minutes in, Liam and Noel saying the same thing at the same time “we just sing about life”, Noel needing to go away and giving Liam the rest of his crisps peanut… omg just all of it.

Well that went well, started at 71000 got to buying the tickets, confirming availability for an hour then booted out saying something went wrong and to the back of the queue. 4hrs of my life gone
Mine has been stuck with the swirling circle of doom “confirming availability” for about 20 mins, after 4 hours queuing I think I need to admit defeat 😢

I didn't get an invite. I appreciate that it’s not possible to please everyone, but for so many people who queued for hours last week to not even get an invite to the ballot is not fair. I'm so disappointed because this is only an invite to the ballot. They clearly stated that if you logged into Ticketmaster and joined a queue on the 31st (which I did for 8 hours!) you'll be eligible for an invite. Nothing to do with luck here.
I agree it's disappointing but they meant you are only eligible if you originally queued but not guaranteed you will get picked

Wish I could go again to any possible dates but Im out (all my holiday for work is booked with other stuff plus I have Blue and Metallica this year, plus family holiday in the summer so..) If they come back to tour again in a few years im there though! Im happy I was there 5th July with thousands of others buzzing!
So do I but I'm away on holiday for all the Manchester dates and that would be easiest for me as I'd just drive. The others I'm working them all and don't have holidays to book. At least we saw them this year 😊

There was a group of 9 of us trying to get just 4 tickets and not one of us got a code. My husband has booked imagine dragon tickets for him and our son instead

Just don't buy them from any other site apart from the official sites, as they will sell re-sale tickets at the face value plus the booking fee.

You are merely feeding the touts. The tickets are expensive enough if you are at the back of 80,000 in Heaton Park. They really are fleecing their own Mancunians, standing only tickets and they are all £150 or more.

Don't get the FOMO feeling just because everybody else is going ape over tickets.

Have seen most of the big bands and singers over time, some already RIP, and never did I think then that they were over priced.
Oh don’t worry I’ve no plans to buy any tickets like that. If I can’t get any it’s not to be.

Sigh! I mean when I joined the queue this morning at almost 223000 I thought it was unlikely but ever the optimist I held out hope… I’ve left the website now so officially given up. I’m feeling deflated to not have got even though it was against the odds.

I’m 53K in the Q for Manchester, joined at 60 something and it’s taken an hour to get this far! Seen lots of people having issues at the confirming availability stage ☹☹ good luck to those still trying
