Sad that someone would do that. I think it's a lesson for both sides. Sometimes not following and reading what is written might have to be the answer for both.
In the same vein Ellie didn't have to identify people and make veiled threats via her platform. It goes two ways. She chooses to publicise and effectively monetise her infertility and other struggles. She took offence at a comment about a business name, maybe black humour; there have been similar comments on other platforms. It just seems disingenuous using this to garner engagement.
100%. This is supposed to be a forum for calling out unethical influencer behaviour, and critiquing someone for talking about their infertility journey on their page is not it.
Whoever sent that letter to Ellie is ducked in the head. I don’t know if it was a tattler or an unconnected weird hater, but it’s not okay. I hope Ellie took it straight to the cops.

I am disgusted that someone would send that Ellie (or any other influencer) and harass her like that. It’s not acceptable but it is unfortunately prob a reality of having a public profile and could be completely seperate to tattle. Could be a insta follower.

Surprised that your legal and PI team (lol) haven’t warned you about this.
Also- if anyone here sent a letter to Ellie that is ducked up and I hope that person is held accountable.
But Ellie’s ranting is about Tattle in general is completely irrational.Ellie and Danni are talking about years of in person stalking and harassment- which is already considered criminal activity in NZ- it has nothing to do with the Tattle case overseas. So why now all the hysteria? because they have all got a little group chat inciting and inflaming each other to try and leverage off that court case to try and drum up support to get Tattle shut down in NZ. Why no media interest? I am sure these idiots have tried and failed to involve the NZ media.
So now they are being unhinged on instagram. It’s disingenuous and ill informed. Personally I would not be here if I thought this was a safe haven for stalkers and I am sure 99.9% of others feel the same.
I really hope for her mental health Ellie stops visiting websites that she can easily ignore.
Tarring everyone with the same brush and calling everyone dangerous stalkers on your platform is accusing people of criminal behavior and extremely unfair/unjustified.

I’ll just leave this here. There is a small group led by 1 or 2 overseas agitators. They created an audience and are trying to create a movement.
They’ve been told to try and say on their platforms that they have been harrassed in person, long term.
They’ve been told to talk about their mental health and post ‘apologies’ from Tattlers who are trying to come clean. Apparently some are using their Tattle lurker accounts to fake message themselves apologies

A number of very sad things have happened in the world this week and then to be collectively bullied and threatened mid week is likely to be taking a toll on people’s mental health.
oh, the irony is so thick. Anyway i’m looking forward to this storm in a teacup running out of gas and soon back to normal programming!
On the plus side, if influencers want to try and say they are so private and above reproach- they may have unwittingly screwed rhemsemves- and have no choice but to start changing their behaviour, and stop selling their children online. They are inviting scrutiny…. and we have the receipts.

Totally agree with these posts. The HCDA 2015 makes it clear that doxxing, threats and online harassment can be illegal in Aotearoa when they cross the line into causing serious emotional distress. If Danni is screenshotting posts, sharing names or making accusations online, she might want to consider whether her behaviour meets those legal thresholds because serious cases can be reported to Netsafe or even the Police.

Danni claimed a user outed themselves to her but the username doesn’t exist and has no previous posts so I reckon it might be her own fake account. She’s really the worst person to be so aggressively leading the charge. She’s like a rabid dog salivating over seeing herself as NZ’s No.1 Defender of Influencer Rights… unsurprising as she has a pattern of trying to martyr herself for causes that literally no one cares about.
Funnily enough I am childfree for various reasons and still find DCCD an ABSOLUTE BORE because my personal circumstances are private and it’s not the basis of my whole personality
