I did heaps of solo travel in Europe in my late twenties when I lived in the UK but I never went to Italy on my own haha that’s asking for trouble. Portugal is pretty dodgy too. I always stayed in hostels though which even though doesn’t sound like it, I reckon are safer cos you have all the other travelers looking out for you and you can book a female only room etc.

She’s already done the Portugal trip, it was super short and now she’s on her solo Italy part. She’s hiring a car and doing a trip about by herself from memory. Then she goes to Turkey for another Flashpack trip.

Danni did a flashback in Portugal right?? She hardly posted anything about it except the power cut? Dunno who would wanna go to Portugal with Danni??

I guess it's her first time traveling alone so understand she's nervous, but the nice man at the hotel messaging and trying to deliver food to her room, that's the man she should be nervous about

Legit do not understand the point of flashback bringing Danni to Portugal and Turkey, she knows nothing about those places? Understand her getting a commission for selling the tour to her followers, actually, I guess they give her a free trip as part of the compensation, but can't imagine she brings any value other than that of a regular tourist!! Good for her though getting that free travel.

Good luck to her in Turkey if she's nervous is Puglia though.

Just came here to post this. I don’t think she realises that nothing can be done to stop what kids might see online, considering meta is out of NZs hands, you can teach and preach all you want but it’s not going to stop what kids might see and potentially do, her blogs are rubbish

Yes, she is - HOWEVER I could be completely wrong about her as I've never met her and I'd say based on the fact she seems to have many, many friends, that's a sign that she's a good egg. I will admit that she also seems as if she's great fun to be around. I'm sure I'd be her BEC if we met

15 years of overhyped fluro floral fur coats pays off! When she was at her peak probably 8 years ago every drop would sell out. I think they have their fingers in many pies as well. IDGAF where they live but total curiosity about what they brought with that coin!

How's that solo travelling working out for you Danni? I've not seen any of her travel stories until now but this sounds horrible.

And colour me confused, but isn't she travelling with a group of other child free people with tour guides?? How come it suddenly sounds like she's on her own??

Maybe there were no takers for her excursion?

Or maybe would-be attendees were scared that if they said or did anything that offended her, she'd make a complaint through the "correct channels" (or whatever nonsense it is that she says she's dealing with in respect to meanies on the internet who don't share the same taste in soft furnishings).

It's all super high glycaemic index carbohydrates.. the type of foods an athlete would have to get a rapid sugar rush for a marathon! These are Not the kind of food that growing teenagers should consume without more balance of vegetables and protein. The high carb is also not helpful for stable concentration at school. Maria and Phil can afford to buy better food and expose the kids to more variety. Maria is surely trolling with these lunchboxes .. she can't be serious.. I swear it's the same food as 10 years ago when I used to follow her
