Imagine being told you are not eligible for public IVF funding because you’re overweight? That would be hard especially if you didn’t want to or couldn’t lose weight.
Also hard for peeps who don’t have the 15-20 odd grand it costs for private IVF each time.

I don’t need to imagine because I got told this myself.
And then I cried for weeks.
And then I decided there’s two options here: wallow in self pity and feel angry about it. Or pick myself up, get my ass in the gym, and lose the weight to get what we so desperately wanted.
Turns out I actually have a health condition that means the weight doesn’t budge as easily as it would for a “normal” person (hence being overweight again now) but we have 3 children so getting healthy was the necessary element to achieving our parenthood dreams.

I wouldn’t say it’s unfair. NZ is a small country and has limited resources. Of course funding is going to target those with the greatest chance of success.
They are literally asking her to lose some weight, which will improve her health outcomes and the babies potentially….they are not asking her to climb Mount frickin Everest

Well done on her for getting back to work. But once again another influencer going through a major women issue and barely talking about it. Bets is only 41 so peri menopause is relatively early for her. It obviously heightened ADHD which is quite common in women. Had a few friends who recently got diagnosed once going through PM. I wonder if that’s also what Em is going through. Love some NZ women to chat about it as we only hear a lot from overseas. But this lot seem to just moan!

I admire your optimism. I feel like the Betts and Marias of this world use menopause as the new hot topic to prattle on about. Ive mentioned this before, so I’m sorry to harp on. But the ADHD one really irks me! I’m diagnosed, and these cunts out here being like “hehe it’s my ADHD, I. So silly and crazy” is so annoying - because of you’re having a great time having suspected ADHD, you probably don’t have it. Like don’t get me wrong, some parts are funny as fuck, and I’m fucking fantastic and some things that neurotypicals couldn’t even dream of being mediocre at but it’s also dark, lonely and fucking sad to have to battle to do things normal beige brainers don’t even think about.
Coeliac also annoys me - you can say you’re funny with gluten, or it upsets you etc but if you don’t have a test confirming that - then fuck off.
OCD is another “omg I’m so OCD over how my coffee table books simply must be in size order” get fucked. I know people who need to touch the corners of the tables at restaurants cos they believe if they don’t then their family’s will die that day. I know people who have raw hands from using sanitizers and soap’s Because even touching their own face makes them think they are diseased.

Okay Tattlers, am back from a week long stay with friend in Emcult Embassy Empire.

1) Her Patreon writing is such nonsensical bullshit. It doesn’t make sense and is all geared for people to tell her she is amazing.
2) Still claiming to have ADHD despite being able to stick to a daily schedule, cook dinner from scratch every day, not procrastinate or be unable to work out how to start a task. She has PTSD, stick in your lane.
3) Her trauma is awful and she is pretty amazing for speaking out and showing the long term impacts of abuse and she was treated terribly by her family.
4) Still thinks everyone wants to bang AJ.
5) Likes her kids now because they are independent but forgot one was home sick when going to the bus stop.
6) Now goes to school 2 mornings a week so she can give each child a couple of one on one focussed moments.

She is my BEC and I refuse to follow her because she is such a scammer. But apparently her numbers are dropping rapidly.

She literally doesn’t have a single coping mechanism in her toolbox. Her nearly teen daughter was sick and coughing for 4 hours. Yeah not ideal but also not life threatening.
What does Maria do? Posts about it on IG, over fixates on something which is really just normal sickness in a child and all part of the parenting parcel, and acts like she should get some sort of bravery award for staying up with her. Worrying over every cough…what the actual fuck.
it’s like she has no natural empathy or parenting intuition, so over reacts to what is very normal stuff, making herself feel like she’s a good prent and deserving of head pats from her community.
Also again, it’s giving parenting toddler vibes. At Chloe’s age she should really have worked out that coughing when unwell is kinda normal.
